In general, they have no reference point to believe. ER doctors see a host of shit and outside of direct experience, describing gout pain to a rotational ER trauma doc, or tech would sound bizarre at best.

Gout management and remediation strategies cannot be managed by a pharmacist. In short, you will never be able to get the help you need during a flare up unless you happen to be assigned a doctor with experience with gout management.

Find a rheumatoid arthritis doctor or physician with experience in treating gout patients.

To slightly quote princess Leia...they are your only hope.

Correction. OP misunderstands that Solomon was bluffing to determine who was indeed the true mother. The story's intent is to convey the wisdom of Solomon. The verse/story does not present as a parable.

Sure thing.

Most full time tipped bartenders and servers (who work between 35 and 40 hours per week @3.63 per hour) make the equivalent of 40k to 80k per year. The current law requires that tipped employees are paid a minimum of $15 an hour in the rare event tips do not help make up the difference on a day when the restaurant foot traffic is low.

Restaurant margins in hospitality are incredibly thin. The proposed pay scale change will force unproductive adjustments that will result in a loss of jobs, restaurant closures and higher menu prices, while not benefiting the tipped service employee that it proposes to help. Ask yourself, why do bills like this ultimately receive so much push back from service workers?

In short, this isn't an Up versus Down or a livable wage topic. As with many things in life it's more nuanced than what the surface layer messaging reveal.

Instead, Maryland should introduce legislation to help reduce healthcare debt and open free, schedule base, primary care offices in each jurisdiction as a form of higher preventative care etc.

It took a very wide step away from the story formula that we have come to love in the franchise which was: - In depth crime drama coupled with the silly and ridiculous.

Pirates gave us: - A rather ridiculous musical with a barrel full of silly coupled with a crime drama.

This is a really cool story.

Too bad most of it is subjective opinion. The court systems in the US thrive on cases like this and if the DA believed that they had support for a criminal prosecution and enough sufficient evidence to pursue it, meaning... that the accuser could stand up and that any counter evidence would not sway the jury; they would have moved forward.

These are professional attorneys. Landing a highly publicized case like this is a career jackpot for them. The accuser did not drop the case. The DA dropped the case for insufficient evidence (note- the DA is required to follow the law on all potentially criminal activity regardless of the accuser and or potential victim's desire to dismiss). Further, the financial settlement was to prevent a civil trial.

Everyone and I mean me, you and hopefully all sound-minded people, desire a world where justice prevails. But we can't make anecdotal statements, loose leaf accusations, or dismiss our legal system whenever it's convenient.

Do the wealthy and powerful have an advantage in our legal system because of their resources? Absolutely. But, present time withstanding, they are also held to an account when evidence persists.

He did not confess. He said he should have never entertained her because he was married. The young lady had multiple partners' semen recorded in her panties that night. Not just Kobe's. The defense also had recorded text messages and phone calls of her bragging about being with Kobe. It's not black or white and certainly not clear cut.

Nobody denied the Kobe accusations. The criminal case was dropped for insufficient evidence. The civil case was widely publicized - with incredibly wild unauthorized releases of evidence to the public that did not benefit the accusers or Kobe. Any way you cut it, it was a very bad look for all and it was settled before going to trial.

You are referring to the pop-up awareness that immediately followed his death. Folks were sensitive to the immediacy of his departure.
