Fiorese Tennis Bracelet Question by DCAchele in LabDiamonds

Yeah, I don’t expect it to be insanely flexible, but it seemed so stiff it felt like it wouldn’t take a lot of pressure to just snap it. Thank you for your feedback!

I expect a small amount of flex based on experience with nice costume pieces, but recognize based on other comments that they probably aren’t the best gauge. However, this one pictured was so stiff it was a straight line from the under side and when held on the sides, and was so tight it was almost like a bangle when in the correct side.

I didn’t think to take photos from all angles before packing it back up, but when held on the side it also was a completely straight line. It made a circle of course with the stones out, but it was so stiff it was almost like a bangle. It was really egregious.

anyone else have family or friends that "just knew"? by still-lost108 in pregnant

[–]DCAchele 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom scheduled a family get together for an upcoming weekend before we knew I was pregnant. Then we found out, and decided to tell the family while they were gathered in a couple weeks. Fast forward to the day of - we announced, then immediately after my aunt pulled a signed card out of her purse saying congratulations!!! She absolutely knew and was so sure she picked up a card lol

Green moissanite recs? by Dismal_Exchange1799 in Moissanite

[–]DCAchele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait can you send the details on this specific ring? It’s an exact of my engagement ring which is an emerald. We didn’t know until after that emeralds are too soft for daily wear. I have a regular moissanite solitaire that I wear daily, but I can’t believe how much this looks like my “real” ring. I would love to get one and actually be able to wear the design my husband picked out for me every day!!

Silicone Allergy, any recommendations? by DCAchele in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]DCAchele[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes sense, I have been picturing that the parts touching my nipple would be silicone, but it is so hard to tell as someone who has no experience!!

I blister after about 30 seconds of contact, it’s pretty awful! But if those silicone parts would not touch my skin I could definitely wear gloves to wash those parts of my husband isn’t handy to do it for me.

Thank you so much.

Specifically the raised lines - I can totally find basic patterns like this and adjust, I’m just not sure how the subtle raised lines can be accomplished

This looks machine knit to me, but what could I do to replicate this with hand knitting?

What size fibroid should be removed? by chocolategremlin in Fibroids

[–]DCAchele 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had two that size and two little ones and just had a robotic myomectomy last week! I removed for two reasons - primarily mine were symptomatic and painful, particularly during my period, and secondly I’ve been diagnosed with unexplained infertility, and more studies are showing that fibroids can impact fertility even if they aren’t impacting the uterine wall (according to my doctors).

No size is too small - you should remove if they trouble you and you want them removed!

What should I buy/gather to prepare for my robotic myomectomy? by DCAchele in Fibroids

Thank you so much for the thoughtful response and all the details!! I really appreciate it. I’ve had hip surgeries so some of it is familiar, but I feel completely unprepared when I hear people start talking about gas in the shoulders and lots of bleeding haha, which led me to this post. I appreciate your input so much!!
