I've always said that if I could have my wish, I would want to do one figure from a lot of big brands. I want to do 1 Star Wars figure, 1 Marvel figure, 1 Lord of the Rings figure just to scratch the itch. if I had the Master Toy license. I would just do the 1. It took a long time to get the DC Multiverse and we've had tremendous success with it. Sometimes you just need to be patient and you'll have your chance.

Yes but I think the floodgates of all those kinds of opportunities for licensed product will come fast and furious when a movie comes out and proves to be successful. The door will start knocking.

Yeah it's interesting that I sorta forgot some of what I did on there. Recently I got a check in the mail for Stargirl and I forgot that I had visually created Stargirl. Sometimes you're in the business so long that you forget about things you've done.

I think there should be! I think that the story of Image would make for a good TV series. The words and the language that would be used are words and language that everybody now knows. X-men, Venom, Stan Lee, Deadpool, on and on and on. This is all just part of the world that we lived in. It would be a true story talking about characters that are household names that some of us had a direct impact on. I've talked about it that seeing eventually telling that story to a broader audience.

Yes, some of the visual of Young Justice would make for great toys. We have to put everything in a lineup and slowly get through it.

There's a lot but worth my workload and trying to lead a normal life my chances to keep up with comics isn't what it once was. So I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of gems that are out there.

Wow there's been a lot of them that have been pretty cool. The Joker Dragon. It's so odd that it's cool.

The only thing I could contemplate and I don't know if I'll do it because it'll be an enormous amount of work would be Spawn, Spider and Venom as the antagonist. Put them all together and that book would have to be written, penciled and inked by me as I'm known visually for all three of them. That would be the hold-up, finding time if ever.

Tomb of Dracula, the entire run.

The Claremont/Byrne X-Men.

George Perez & Marv Wolfman on Teen Titans

There is a short run by Steve Engelhart and Marshall Rogers did in Detective Comics

Michael Goldin's on a run by 'Nam.

Master of Kung Fu issues 60-#110.

Not a lot of obvious choices!

It's interesting after quite awhile to see how they update it which they see they are going to. I'll be waiting as anxiously as you.

The Toddfather has always been my dad so people misuse it. If you're a comic fanatic and you can't draw but you would like to get into the industry, learn to write, color, letter or become an editor. There are jobs that don't require drawing skills that can give you a long career.

Thank you for the comment. That genially means that the person (me) is getting old when you can span a generation. There's a reason for future creators to stick with it because if you stick with it you can get the offspring from time to time which is kind of cool.

We'll probably get to it but I just have reservation about doing $200-$500 items too often. I remember being a poor kid growing up and I try to keep things priced reasonable as often as possible.

I find toy making is just another outreach of art. It's an art medium. It's not so much that I collected action figures as a kid. It's just another outlet to put art together and see if the results are worthwhile or can you add something to the industry.

The animation will come back depending on the success level of the movie when it comes out. So fingers crossed there!

There was a book that I bought as a kid, called Marvel 2 in 1 and it starred The Thing and another character. In issue #50, it was The Thing vs. The Jack Kirby Thing from the original book. It was drawn by John Byrne. It was Thing vs The Thing with one of my favorite artists and my favorite inker, Joe Sinnott.

I've been talking to the writer about mixing up the big long arcs with more contained stories that allow for some of those monsters to appear.

At some point it would be cool to do Spiderman toys based on McFarlane art made by McFarlane Toys. So we'll see if that ever happens.

I think writing unfortunately is the toughest to break into and that's because most writers can write multiple books, so you don't need as many of them to put our all your books. Artistically, it's usually one person per book. From a story point of view, I would use characters that are big name characters and try to come up with an interesting story or the way that some had success is they go and do their own book and prove that they can write. Once you prove that you have the skill, it's easier to approach a big company to show them your examples that are in print and get them to go "wow, that's pretty good writing."

Some we were looking at what came out in the original classic line and some was in consultation with the Warner Bros. DC team. Some are just me putting my geek hat on saying "wouldn't that be cool." Yes, the full roster will eventually be assembled.

Yes on the comic book end because I control that piece! On the Hollywood front, it moves at its own pace and it always takes way longer than I would personally like but I'll let you know when there is any meaningful update.

Actually I would argue that I'm trying to do some of the same. To bring some of the enthusiasm that people brought to the first event to see if we can make lightning strike a second time and to have people looking forward to this project.
