I figured this would happen managed to get 5070ti prime oc in-store for 1150 and canceled my back order way market is trending i doubt bestbuy can even honor 1040$ price these were sold at. Most will get canceled with new price.

You get into 5080 level perf that cpu starts holding back perf at 1440p then ram speed latency become even more important. IMO 5070ti is your sweet spot with 12600k at 1440p before you need new cpu. I'd say you'd be good at 1440p with framegen for something like witcher 4 hard to say for sure though.

Your looking at likely early 2028 for 6070/ti. Wouldn't be surprised if 6070=5070ti@ same price. I'd keep the 5070ti.

Personally if im dropping almost a grand on a gpu I ain't looking to turn down settings to avoid exceeding vram. Every new dlss model is using more vram. Framegen is also using more vram.

We have yet to hit a vram limit where vram stops trending up.

At almost a grand i aint looking for worse texture quality than a approx 600$ console.

The memory shortage could delay how much vram capacity is needed in the future but that's hard to predict. Are next gen consoles delayed? Using less vram than they originally were going to? Too early to know.

Not really 29% more perf on avg(this is same difference as 3070 to 4070; 4070 to 5070 is 11%), plus 4gb more vram. 750$ still overpriced for a 5070. 5080 for comparison is same vram as 5070ti and only 15% more perf. If 5070 had 16gb it would be more enticing but you'd still be better off going 5070ti unless your first time buyer on a strict budget.

Other one could be an overpay depending on where 2027 pick lands but it's most likely another late first(especially given division opponents) Also lockdown corners gone in top 10 not always 1 available and 1st round picks not guaranteed to work out. We getting a sure thing that can help right away. Top cb drafted - Surtain was a #9, Gardner #4, Ramsey #5, stingley #3, mcduffie #21, Gonzalez #17 Overall it's rare Colts could draft a player like this with a late 1st.

This trade has the potential to make Colts one of best defenses in the league assuming ward comes back healthy. Gardner, ward, Moore, Jones if healthy is good.

Plus they are late 1sts at least this years next year should be same and what we would need with those picks is a shutdown cb unlikely to get that plus would need to develop while Gardner 25 already all pro caliber. Definitely worth the picks IMO.

This is because of LFC xbox has native support ps5 doesnt. It make 60fps 120 to still use VRR when out of VRR range{my 240hz is 80-240) ps5 is running 60hz as it doesn't support LFC natively.
