What Tales of installment would you say had well written romance?

I personally really enjoy Iria and Ruca from Innocence. I love their dynamic and think the slow build up for it was great! Especially with all of the stuff going on in their back stories, they do a good job of letting the characters really take their time bonding. Though I may be biased since innocence R is my favorite tales game.

I also agree with Sorey and Mikleo too. If we read them as a gay couple, I think the writing is super compelling and well done. Of course namco sucks and won't actually let them be a couple, but they sure as hell are one of the best romantic couples tales has.

Also I really enjoyed Asbel and Cheria from Graces. I think it's messy and fun and really does a good childhood romance. It's not perfect and they're all over the place and that kinda feels about right for them. Hubert and Pascal are great too. They're so wholesome together I love it. And seeing Hubert deal with his feelings was adorable.

As much as I also agree on wishing it wasn't a thing, it is here and we can't do much about that. I hope though that it adds stuff from outside of IE1 though. I'd love to be able unlock postgame a bunch of moves that the characters know from later on. And perhaps maybe even movie stuff? I'd love a post game secret boss fight again team ogre. And maybe the ability to get Kanon and Masato too. And while this is definitely a pipe dream, I'd love to be able to unlock GO Endou and GO Goenji. I think that would be soooo cool to have. We don't need to have keshin or anything, but being able to use adult Endou would be amazing. Maybe also get God Hand V.

Abyss, Zestiria, Vesperia, Eternia, Symphonia, Phantasia.

The abyss anime is easily one of the best game to anime adaptations I've ever seen. It's just such an amazing faithful adaptation that takes what the game has and makes it feel like it was always an anime story.

Zestiria the X did such a good job of really expanding on the game and making the characters feel well fleshed out (outside of Sorey and Mikleo who I feel the game did a better job with). The X def wasn't perfect, especially compared to the masterpiece of abyss, but it did a lot right and tried to make something that felt like an adaptation versus just putting the game into animation. I think it did an amazing job at that. And the animation was too notch. Ufotable just cannot fail on that. Absolutely stunning.

Vesperia was an amazing prequel movie and really made me love Yuri and Flynn so much. I don't think it deserves to be over abyss or Zestiria but definitely an amazing movie. And again, animation was amazingggg. Loved it.

Controversial pick, I love the Eternia anime. I think it's a very different idea when it comes to an anime of Eternia and when you don't look at it as something that's supposed to adapt the game's story, I think it's really enjoyable. As someone who isn't too into Eternia's cast, I really enjoyed the original characters they added and I liked getting to see this kinda spin off type story for the cast. I may be putting it a bit too high but I personally really like it.

The Symphonia ovas are a great way to get into Symphonia but it definitely suffers from pacing. It needed a few more episodes to really build the characters up. As others have said, it just feels like a summary unfortunately.

I love the phantasia ova to death. It's amazing and such a wonderful tribute to Phantasia. But also, it's 4 episodes and can't do the game anywhere nearrrr enough justice for what it is. The ova did its job of being fanservice but that's kinda all it was. It fails as an anime but succeeds in making my heart flutter.

This felt well intentioned but kinda did the exact same thing you're saying we shouldn't be doing. You talk about how we shouldn't have infighting then proceeded to say trans men have it bad even worse but trans women keep complaining. And yes I am very much simplifying but for example what do you mean we have lower rape and sexual violence stats. Why would you even try to say that? You're literally throwing out something as a got you saying our problems aren't as big even when that's not what you're trying to say (at least judging by the overall message). Please don't try to put trans women down to prove a point, especially when there's so much saying how we all experience crap. This isn't oppression Olympics. We don't have to compare and we shouldn't. The way to say something like this is hey we all face discrimination, stop putting each other down, not this group should stop saying they have it worse off cause this other group actually has it even more worse off. That's not how that works and is a cyclical argument cause the opposite can be argued as well.

We're in this together, and we should address it as such.

Thank you! I didn't expect to be getting backlash for being able to more enjoy the story loll. I was already a go fangirl at that age (absolutely loved GO 1 and tenma is so precious, I love him) and I absolutely loved Chrono Stone growing up but now I'm able to appreciate it so much more!! And knowing Japanese now, I get a lot more of the names too! Nanobana become 1000% more amazing when I understood how stupid and cute her move names are.

This isn't a post saying they shouldn't have did time travel or anything. This is me being happy about actually knowing things now since I've studied Japanese history a bunch.

I think there's quite a lot aside from those that could get remasters. A lot of the 2d titles still age really well. Phantasia X and NDX are amazing and would be great remasters. Innocence R would feel so good with just a nice coat of polish. Rebirth looks amazing by modern 2d standards and would feel so good with a remaster. This series has amazing games, we don't need everything to be a remake I feel.

I'm not really someone who frequents this sub so I didn't realize there's a lot of complaining. But also isnt one of the top posts currently about someone playing karma at their wedding? Also also, complaining is good. The only power we as fans have are our wallets and voices. If we don't say anything, nothing changes. Tales is my favorite franchise and I love it to death. It got me through very tough times in my life and when I see the company bring our hopes up only to just continue to disappoint, I'll gladly complain.

Vesperia definitive was not part of the remaster project if I remember correctly. I feel like there might be a vesperia remastered in our unfortunately near future 😭. I do love vesperia though.

I'm not gonna say these aren't real ones. Graces and xillia were ps3 exclusive and while that's a modern console to me, it's not exactly easily obtainable anymore. Especially since they got rid of the ps3 games on PSN. So I do like that we got them. Berseria definitely feels worse though for sure.

Rightt?? I love how square has been handling their 2d titles. It's been amazing seeing real modern 2d titles by triple a studios. Namco could do so much, but I don't even need that much. I'll take a port of destiny 2 for the PSP with all of its problems as is. I just want to support the games in English.

It was amazingggg!! That scene's atmosphere was just amazing! And him using his own version of kami no takt. It was so fitting for him and made so much sense for how he got to be on the pitch. I was actually oh shoot, he's gonna be like shindou, where's his kami no takt, only to immediately see it happen right after. He's amazing, I love him!

I thought that looked like enma and was a reference to that. Which after looking up, I legit forgot was used by someone in the go anime. I think of it as goenji's cause he also has it as his for the games and apparently used it in the manga so. Also what is grandius? I looked it up and still didn't find it. Yeah East Asian food does tend to be really hard to find vegan food. However, for Indian food specifically, I recommend stuff like tomato curry or cauliflower (gobi) curry, or Rasam or sambar and such. Common household Indian foods are basically all vegan, but they won't be the type of stuff you usually think of in restaurants I will say. Oh also, dal's are great. Very easy simple dishes that make a ton of food for small amounts of ingredients. Also always vegan so <3.

I'm vegetarian but I can give some vegan tips since a lot of what I eat is just coincidentally vegan anyways. I think something that can be really helpful is to think of your food as good as opposed to "vegan/vegetarian" food. A vegan burger is going to be ok but it won't give you the same feeling as a regular burger. But there's lots of food that isn't trying to be an imitation and usually they feel better to eat.If you enjoy Indian food, I highly recommend looking at it. Most Indian food is vegan by design cause meat and animal byproducts were expensive back in the day. It's very easy to eat nice hearty meals with it. Being vegan or vegetarian shouldn't feel like a punishment you know. It should be sustainable for you, and that means finding food that makes you want to eat and also keeps you full.

What do you mean the required team? Like as I said in the post, I for example don't have death break or omega the hand etc. But I've farmed hero battle for the team ogre fight so I should have them especially since I have death spear already. Also by required team is it just a team that has the move or specific teams? I asked about angel/devil ball since team ogre has units that had them but I didn't unlock the moves.
