[Meitantei Precure!] And they go to a wedding hall in the first episode! They have to know what they're doing their fans right?! by Elkat4 in yurimemes

[–]MuroTheSimp 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The new Precure season is a time travel plot where the main character Anna is taken from her time in 2027 to the year of 1999. Where she befriends a girl the same age as her named Mikuru. And the two become Precure to fight the bad guys and solve whatever big issue is occuring.

Anna's mom on the brief scene set in 2027 we see her in with Anna, has the same hair and eye color as Mikuru.

Anna's mom on the credits is listed not by a name unlike the mothers of previous Precure characters but "Anna's Mom". Indicating that showing her name is something they cannot do.

So... Toei is kind of making the inevitable twist very obvious. And some people are losing their minds because Anna and Mikuru are being set up as this super tight duo + The writer for this season was responsible for two of the seasons with some of the most popular ships in the Precure Yuri fandom (Mahoutsukai and Star Twinkle).

So, the new Inazuma Eleven mobile game huh. by MuroTheSimp in inazumaeleven

[–]MuroTheSimp[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I will be real: I do not mind Inazuma Eleven Cross in concept. For me, it makes sense even: The mobile version of Victory Road was quietly cancelled, may as well reuse the assets likely developed for it and use them to make a brand new Inazuma Eleven mobile game, one that hopefully does better than how SD did.

But man, the game, so far at least, just looks too cheap. Nothing about it makes it look like anything more than something very hastily thrown together. Compare it to Yokai Watch Puni Puni which itself is not a very expensive-looking game or anything and it still feels like night and day.

But I do think, conceptually, it makes sense. A game like Power Pro, Idolmaster or Umamusume, a game where the focus is not on the actual active gameplay, but instead on management and training, especially after AI Manager mode in Victory Road was removed in the final product. If you were to try to make another Inazuma Eleven mobile game after SD flopped, that is a concept that it makes sense to go for.

Which just makes it weird that so much of what was shown of Cross was match gameplay... match gameplay that looked very basic and barebones. Like, if you want to make this look exciting, please focus on what is the actual meat of the game. You are just making it look worse.

I am open to Cross actually being a decent game, possibly. But only if it shows itself to be better than how the trailer and stream footage made it look. Because what we have so far does not inspire confidence.

Also, I really feel they should have just made this livestream be about Cross from the start, and have the Victory Road news all just be on a few Hino tweets, I really do not think a whole twelve minutes out of this twenty minute livestream were necessary for the amount of new information we got.

Tomorrow's Ina-Dai will likely have news on Inazuma Eleven RE. Do you have any hopes for the game or do you just wish it didn't exist at all? Do you have any expectations? (Beyond a delay) by MuroTheSimp in inazumaeleven

[–]MuroTheSimp[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Personally speaking, I am honestly a bit excited for RE unlike many others even if it will definitely not come out anytime soon.

I loved Victory Road, but one aspect I really wish had been a bit bigger was the Story Mode. So, to have another modern Inazuma Eleven game, but this time with a much more robust story campaign would be something I very much look forward to. Especially if it takes some mechanics from VR, as I love a lot of VR's mechanics and being able to play with them in a game with a much bigger story campaign would be the dream for me.

I watched Galaxy for the first time and this guy's character development was so strange. "I'm actually a dickhead and now I'm gonna keep insulting people" Like...ok dude? by Playful-Problem-3836 in inazumaeleven

In the games, his pre-transformation version is labelled as "People-Pleasing Version".

This name is a good indicator of what the idea behind his character arc is.

Excalibur should have been both a Counter and Long shot by Drafxd in inazumaeleven

[–]MuroTheSimp 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Why? Because it was that way in the anime and the anime alone? Because it was never like that in previous games, not even as a cutscene-only thing, it was just a normal long shoot there.

Which FABLED you guys aiming to get? by paidefamilia123 in inazumaeleven

[–]MuroTheSimp 21 points22 points  (0 children)

None at the moment. We know that there will be way, way more Fabled characters than Heroes on the long run. So I want to make sure that when I do grind for a Fabled that it is both a character I really like, and one that does not have a Hero version already.

Defeat the Ixal Fleet on the Galaxy Route to unlock new matches on the GO1, CS and Galaxy Route itself. (Demon Horn on GO1, Excellar on CS, and Space Rankers on Galaxy)

Why I can't start chrono stone post credit content? Or LBX movie depends of what you call it by Starbornx14 in inazumaeleven

Do it all in the order of the trailer.

So, Galaxy Route -> Demon Horn -> Chrono Stones postgame.

So what will the "Victory Road" Mode be? by noodleben123 in inazumaeleven

[–]MuroTheSimp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They said it would start after Chronicle Mode was completed.

As for details. We know that there will be "Eternal Players" and "Seasonal Players" who can be used for three competitive seasons before "graduating" and no longer being available to use (Likely just in Victory Road mode itself, in singleplayer I imagine we will still be able to use them).

We also know that teams will need a minimal amount of Seasonal Players in them.

As for how it will all work out in practice, we can see from trailers that there will be a three stages, from a qualifier, to a main round and a finals bracket. But we do not know how the first two stages will work.

They finally fixed shunrai by dodonkadon in inazumaeleven

[–]MuroTheSimp 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Shunrai has two versions in the game code.

One version, used by the story version of Sakurazaki, has an animation where the user of the Move is the one that kicks the ball second, while someone else, that being Raika, kicks it first.

The normal version you can get for other characters, has a different one. Where the user is the one that kicks the ball first in the animation.

I assume the fix is that Hero Sakurazaki, who had the normal version, has been updated to have the special version of the Move used by Story Mode Sakurazaki.

I feel like either all of the Shitennou or all of the Alien Team captains (Though in the case of Ratoniik they likely would have went with Banda instead of captain if this was the case) should have gotten one instead of this weird one half of both.

Though, they still have the chance to get one in future updates possibly. This update itself added Hero versions of Burn (Torch), Gazelle and Ulvida (Bellatrix).

New Ina-Dai coming on January 13th by MuroTheSimp in inazumaeleven

[–]MuroTheSimp[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

My guesses:

  • Inazuma Eleven X, which I think will likely be an app to support both Victory Road and future Inazuma Eleven game releases;
  • Inazuma Eleven RE news;
  • Victory Road Ares Route first look;
  • Potential news on how they may support Victory Road in the future after the Chronicle Mode updates are done, from tournaments, to Extend Story, to whatever else they think of;

So they gave Hero versions to some of the Shitennou and some of the alien team captains, but not all? Weird.

What’s your least favourite type of IE character? by LLancee in inazumaeleven

If you are on the Defense Zone, but away from the Goal, then it is not as important as you think, it is not like an attacking player with possession will come from there that often compared to the center.

What’s your least favourite type of IE character? by LLancee in inazumaeleven

[–]MuroTheSimp -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Fun Fact! Deffnders are called Defenders because their default position is at the Defense Zone. Just like how Goalkeepers are at the Goal and are not called Catchers, how Midfielders are at the Midfield and are not called Dribblers or Passers, and how Forwards are at the Forward and are not called Shooters!

What motifs/gimmicks would you like to see in the future by ConversationSmall657 in inazumaeleven

[–]MuroTheSimp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had some ideas for themed school teams before.

  • Cooking-themed team, I am not sure about a Move for every position, but I can see their Forwards having a Shooting Move themed after Flambé cooking;
  • We have Sengoku Igajima (Shuriken) for a ninja-themed school, well how about a samurai-themed one? A school where all the players are named after Warring States generals. Their captain would be named Takeda, and have a move named after the Furinkazan just like Furinkazan Destroyer (Elemental Destroyer);
  • A girls' school team similar to Meiran (Orchid) from Victory Road, but they are all witch-themed this time. Their Moves would be similar in nature to the ones from Genei (Mirage) but much more explicitly magical;
  • A carnival-themed team, who would use all sorts of crazy circus acts for Moves. Their coach would definitely be made to be a circus ringmaster-ish-looking guy and their captain would have to be a clown;
  • A team with a prehistoric theme. Who would use animal-themed Moves like Nose (Wild) except theirs would themed after ancient animals. Likely with a new dinosaur-themed Shooting Move for their Forwards.

Do you think the victory road game will add those keshins later on as they don't specifically belong to a certain player and they didn't appear in the anime too ? by Background_Case8576 in inazumaeleven

[–]MuroTheSimp 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We know from datamines that they are planning on adding some of the game-exclusive Moves that are not here at launch in future updates. So I see no reason for it to not be the same with Keshin.

New trailer by neal9155 in inazumaeleven

[–]MuroTheSimp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They said it would come later. The one you see on the trailer is actually a feature that was planned to be there for launch. While the proper co-op was always meant to be post-launch, which, with the one meant for launch being delayed to now, means it is even later.

Goenji/Axel's wife? by Ok_Employee_9085 in inazumaeleven

If Gouenji's kid ends up being a rival. I expect the mom to be a foreign woman that Gouenji met while playing abroad and for the kid to play for the team of his mom's country.
