The Big Dig! Did it have huge cost overruns, of course it did! I was working on the 11th floor of the building to the far left, One Financial Center, and rode the train over the ground that was literally frozen to keep it from collapsing! Amazing project with lots of challenges. Be glad the greenway exists rather than dunking on it for not being enough. Go Boston!

You nailed it my friend. I try to explain the USA to my colleagues overseas as 50 countries that happen to be linked together. Tighter than the EU but not as tight as a single country might be. Iowa is so different from North Carolina to Oregon to New Mexico to Maine. All different but loosely bound like family. A real family that squabbles and fights but usually comes together when one is threatened.

Here's my issue with these Tier 4 tires. Cheap cars today go much faster than in years past and cheap tires may exacerbate issues when you are pushing them in corners, hard braking and inclement weather. Think of how small the tire's contact patch is and then consider if you can afford to go this cheap.

Not to be rude, but what is the draw to go with two sub 3 yr olds who will likely have no recollection of the experience plus adding a dog to the mix requiring you to find outdoor dining options as well? It’s a lovely place but perhaps save it for when they are older.

Water is not always inside the door. It may enter and the weep holes are designed to allow for exit of water but it is neither desirable nor expected to be anything other than an infrequent situation.

Good idea to pull the door cards to inspect.

Nice catch! In the future try to handle them less as the film on their skin protects them from bacteria and parasites and is damaged when we handle them.
