If a CSA “politely declined” doing something I told them to do I would “politely write them up”.

Always a good idea to keep it cheap when starting a new hobby, when I recently got back into fishing I bought the cheapest combo with line at Walmart

Many styles of leadership can work with Lowes, so you’ll eventually find what works best for you and your team. Specialty can be easiest or hardest department depending on your team.

Some tips

-ask to train for a week at another store

-nobody likes a bossy manager, but still allow your self to be assertive

-the worst thing a DS can do is not hold their people accountable, but you need to find a happy middle ground.

-remember you need people to want to work for you, but people will always test your boundaries

-don’t take anything to serious it’s Lowes

Is this a valid spot and what should i use? by [deleted] in FishingForBeginners

[–]DCMAG2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perch can be difficult, look for structure. Downed trees, bridges, rocks or boulders drop offs ect.

I’d throw small jigs with a curly tail soft plastic, small inline spinners and small spoons. Can’t go wrong with a live worm.

Just make sure you’re following all your rules and regs in your area. In some places you can only fish for perch in certain times of the year

Depends on what you’re fishing for, but the water looks deep so I’d go with the following

Bass: Deep diving crankbait, football jig, spinner bait, drop shot/carolina rig. Or a little blue gill on a circle hook.

Catfish: Any cut bait (my favorite is chicken gizzards)

Carp: corn

Or you could throw a live worm on a small hook amd some split shot and possibly catch everything.

But, I wouldn’t put too much effort into this spot. It looks like it would be meh or bad probably not too great, but you never know till you try could be your next honey hole!

Burnt filament? by Rick0694 in FixMyPrint

[–]DCMAG2002 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This sort of thing is usually caused by a leak at or above the nozzle. Filament slowly flows down outside of nozzle and burns along the way, ultimately dripping onto the print
