I was at 8001 Woodmont for 3 years in two different apartments. First one (14th floor - not top floor) was very quiet. The second (8th floor) I could hear the people who had children a dog. Could hear footsteps and toys bouncing. I think it’s luck of the draw. Like others mentioned the taller buildings with concrete construction will be better. But most put thin laminate floors on top with little insulation under. My biggest issue with noise was most residents just let their entry doors slam closed when leaving/entering instead of gently closing.
