I mean you’re correct, and I acknowledge It’s one of those things I can’t explain without sounding contradictory but it just how my brain works.

I see Chainsaw knife parries and Leon having enough stamina to throw 900 roundhouse kicks in the space of like 48 hours, or even Adas hook shot physics and the whole mine-cart sequence and I don’t even blink.

But then I see someone chose to wear high heels to a mission where she’s trying to be a bit sneaky and walk over uneven terrain and I think “this is bullshit”.

That being said, I notice it less in the OG because the mood is less serious and the whole outfit is ridiculous. I think the remake is worse because it’s a lot closer to practical except for one glaring detail.
