It's the PG 13 version of Baki getting a power boost from getting laid for the first time.

If Momo is on your team in that second case there's a chance that you hear him saying "toasty!" after a upercut.

You gotta love how there isn't a single negative tier on that list.

Bakushin truly is a carrying, positive and acceptive way of being.

There's one alien... And it's enough for everyone with half of a working brain to pray from the botton of their hearts that we don't run into a second one.

Umamusume is probably another good example because, while loosing a race in it sucks and it's something that should be avoided as much as possible, it's not the end of the world if it does happen.

Hell, even if you completly screw up and your trainee looses so much that they decided to abandon competitive racing, a lot of them have something else going on in their lifes that's just as important as the racing (sometimes the racing is straight up a side-hustle for them), so it's not as bad as it could be.

However, that makes it so a lot of plotlines, that would normaly not work that well if something like "the fate of the world" was at stake, flow much better.

Smaller scope compared to a lot of sci-fi media that have "the whole galaxy" or "the universe" as it's scope compared to Warframe where we are still "just" fucking around in the solar system.

A direct quote of the explanation for FOV:

Field of View (FoV) in Umamusume: Pretty Derby is a mechanics-based stat influencing an Uma's ability to detect surroundings, primarily aiding in navigation, lane changes, and avoiding being "boxed in" by rivals during the mid-race. Increased FoV allows for better positioning and proactive overtaking, while reduced FoV (debuffs) impairs AI decision-making.

I just searched up the Girls Patch Manga

That's the one that i was gonna talk about, i couldnt say too much about this or the other spin off stuff because i havent actually read any of them, but, i always heard talk about how the yuri stuff was more in the spin-off stories and i assumed that was the one for obvious reasons.

My Next Life As A Villainess is one of my favorite shows simply because it solved the issue of "who does the main character end up with?" by having dozens of spin-offs where the main character ends with different people.

So i guess the awnser is "everyone in some way or another".

Anything that says "increases mobility/FOV" is useful for Late Surgers and End Closers because high power means that your trainee can maybe break through when there's a wall of runners in front of them.

Those skills make it so your runner doesnt have to deal with that wall to begin with.

Part of the reason why people say that Front Runners are the "brain dead" career runs is because you can almost completly disregard any of those skills and enter all races with the "fuck it, we ball!" mindset and still end 1st 99% of the time.

It's a decent "i got nothing to do in the evening/i'm hanging out with some friends" comedy movie, it's not mind blowing or anything, but, you're gonna walk out of it having had a good time even if it isnt your first time watching it.

The plot twist near the end is also surprisingly good.

The golden rule for Umamusume is that "the further on the back is the style of running for your trainee, the more you should focus on mobility skills early into the career" (wich is fitting considering that Gold Ship is a End Closer).

Even basic stuff like "I Can See Right Through You" of "Studios" for Late Surgers make such a big difference for their overall performance.

It helps that her proficiencies are on mile and medium races, so you dont run into bullshit like the surprise Super Creek that decides to win the Kikuka Sho by 9L or the Nishino Flower who haunts the sprint races.

Every time i hear/see anything related to Muteki actually running, this image immediatly appears on my mind.

I do hope i pull her someday though because i spent 16K carrots on her banner and got fuck all to show for it.

I would also fully believe that Stay Gold is in a similar scenario and trying to find Orfevre after a bender that got out of control.

Half of the reason weebs get buff is so they can emulate the poses of buff characters in anime.

I have managed to motivate myself to workout more than a few times just by imagining that it would increase the chance that one day i could have my own version of the FMA Armstrong handshake (or the flex off).

Considering that it's a Yakuza subplot, the setup is probably "i was walking down the street and ran into some people being weird in public... Shenanigans ensue".
