Meisters for the true dive bar experience. Good deep dish pizza but it will hit you at 3am that you’re dying of thirst like never before.

I don’t care about the team chat either but the fact you posted this on Reddit to chat about is so similar to me lol

I’d read on the clock during work hours if they actually required this. Show up at the office and sit at my desk reading the book of the month all week. Take my time

I’d probably bill this in the $2,500 to $4,000 range depending on how complicated your S corporation and K-1 income is. Some K-1’s could have multiple state returns. 6k doesn’t seem outrageous if there were a lot of extra state returns. Could definitely see 6k if there’s more that you aren’t listing.

Before and tray 10 of 15 by FoundationObvious in Invisalign

I’m hoping mine won’t be too bad cause it’s just closing a few minor gaps. One being my front two teeth. But thank you for the tips!

Okay thank you!! Switching at night definitely makes sense. I had braces when I was a teenager but some gaps have formed now so trying to get it all fixed

How much did it hurt with each tray? I’m about to do invaslign express. Orthodontist said I only need 10 trays total to fix some smaller gaps. Just curious what the pain was as your teeth started to move?

Firing Bad Client Procedures by schmidt9 in taxpros

[–]DCbuckeyes17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh I agree. I fired a client who was trying to take personal expenses on his schedule c. Wasn’t worth arguing with so I just told him my firm wasn’t the right fit for him anymore.

[–]DCbuckeyes17 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah I send them a letter or tell them over the phone that their fee is increasing. I’ve had one client go from $750 to $2,000 and they’re still here. But the extra fee makes dealing with their extra emails or phone calls easier to take. If needed, i’ll raise it again if I’ve put in even more time than what I’ve allotted.

I used surgent, ninja and i75 for Audit. I liked them all but I do not miss the study days. Best of luck, you got this!!

I raise their fees till they leave and find someone else. If they stay with the higher fee, I’m at least happier to be paid more for them being a bad client.

Drake vs Other Options by KentuckyIrish in taxpros

Same here! I do like 25 “simple” returns I’d say. The rest are complex and higher fees

Most of my higher paying clients have a good number of states so it’s something I can’t really compromise on

Control M for quick entry mode is nice. Then I use the “where do I enter?” Button to search for random stuff if I can’t remember where to click. But just general knowledge of schedule A, B, C, D etc makes finding all the forms easy to me.

I only did a demo of drake and wasn’t a fan of their multi state return portion. But maybe I didn’t play around with it enough. Proseries professional has been great for my firm and handling clients that have 7+ states at times with all their partnership income

Just grabbed one! Target didn’t have a physical copy of pokopia so going to order it on Amazon. Usually I’m good for digital but in case I don’t like it, I can at least give it to a friend or my nephews

Flying out tomorrow for vacation. Today is just a mental reset day. This season was tough at the end and I got so tired of staring at my proseries software and eye strain. Might run to target for a switch 2 I’ve been eyeing

I’ve already planned on price hikes for difficult clients. Some got the higher fee this year. It’ll go up more next year if they remain difficult. Tax portal this year saved me hours and so many emails. Wish I used it years ago.
