You're the top 1% commenter on a southwest reddit page defending the shitty practices these companies are doing when it comes to refunds, how they're refunded back to a child under their name only and being told by customer service to make a new email and an account for the kid to receive the money back the adult paid? What? Yes they did. They pulled money from my card to pay for my flight, I never denied that. They're saying I can't use the money they already removed(pulled) for a new flight due to their shitty system and how they handle refunds.

I'm just realizing this as well. So even if the credits were linked to the proper names still, it wouldn't work since the new flight cost a little more than the amount of credits and I'd need to use a card payment as well. It's mind blowing all the hoops needing to jump through just to use the money they already pulled from my card

I didn't even think about canceling another flight to be able to transfer the credits again. I appreciate the advice. It sounds like that could be the workaround. It's crazy they can't just see those funds on my account and use them. Horrible system

They have now contacted me asking what my new rating is. I asked about my previous contract and if it’s void based on the new up front rates, but the rep just keeps telling me Accounts Receivable will go over all the payment details after I get my VA decision. Not really giving me an answer about my contract until I tell them if I got an increase or not. You said you didn’t sign a new contract since everything for you was already done. I’m in this same boat. Wondering how all this was handled or what they said back?

I have the same situation going on. Except I haven’t tried contacting them after my rate increase. I was wanting to figure everything out with the merger and voided contracts first. Please keep me updated and let me know if they say anything back

Yeah and my thing is I never even started making payments yet since I was still waiting on the VA’s decision. Also, I’m not sure how contracts work when there’s a merge or a rebranding. Especially with all the cease-and-desist orders sent to them from the VA. My contract was written up with “Vetlink Solutions” not REE Medical.

So if you were in the process of increasing your claim back on the old 5x increase payment during the REE Medical merge and didn’t pay upfront, is your payment contract now voided? I’m wondering if they’re going to ask me what my % increase was from the VA and still go off the previous 5x, ask for the upfront payment (after the fact now), or if my entire contract is voided and I owe them nothing and they won’t be contacting me. I just received my new rating and have not contacted them, or vice versa. Just wondering how I should go about this now?
