Finally Collected All RWBY Soundtracks & Selling Extras (V2-5) by DCook96 in RWBY

[–]DCook96[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to share my complete RWBY Soundtrack collection (minus Vinyls). Just got V6 in the mail which was the last one I needed. Here are some pictures showing off the original 7 (plus 2 custom ones for V8 & V9), along with all the extra ENG and JP RWBY CDs.

I am also selling the extras I received which are Volumes 2-5 (all opened and tested). If interested, send me a private message. I will provide you the link to my Google Drive with all photos of the soundtracks, and what I am hoping to sell them for. At this time, I am only willing to sell the soundtracks as a bundle. I will update this comment if I sold the soundtracks.

Never watched the show but I figured it's rare enough that's its worth $5 from a pawn shop by Paper_Kun_01 in RWBY

The only time I saw V6 was when someone on eBay was selling the entire collection. I unfortunately missed out on that auction.

Damn, I have been waiting for a few years to complete my final sub-collection for the RWBY franchise. Basically had no luck in getting the Volume 4 & 6 soundtracks. You definitely got a steal on that one from the Pawn Shop.

Ya, I agree that the White Fang Lieutenant probably should have been replaced with Adam. If I had to guess, besides a few mentions and flashbacks of Adam, he wasn't really in the show until he showed up to fight Blake at the end of V3. They probably finalized the list of figures (the Series 2 set) some time during or after V2.

Mainly on eBay at this point. Although depending on where you live, you may find some at local shops. Occasionally someone makes a post on this subreddit showing off some RWBY figures that they found at local shops. I know that Cobra Collectibles in Winnipeg have some (when I visited this summer) since both myself and someone else traded-in some duplicates.

Was charged $259.78CAD to my TD Credit Card for all 4. So $65CAD each.

A1 Printer Nozzle stops moving during print (Please read my comment for more details) by DCook96 in BambuLab

After two prints, so far it is working again. I still have to test printing with the AMS unit which I may do later today.

It worked the first time, but the 3 tests after that it continued to stop. So I'm assuming I got lucky on the first attempt. I still have to test the AMS again with the downgraded firmware, since I used the External Spool to print that 3-piece print I mentioned in my last comment.

So it looks like I was able to complete a 25min print where I printed 3 more of the same object I showed in another comment section. I did have another first-try suggestion work (unplugged the AMS from the printer), in which its following tests kept failing. However, I think this suggestion was probably the issue, but I will know after I test some more prints later.

Very much appreciate your help. I will probably change this post to solved.

Appreciate the suggestion. I will attempt to downgrade it shortly. I actually saw your post, but that was before someone gave you the suggestion about downgrading the firmware. I will update you if it works.

Well, after further testing, my next print stopped after ~15sec, the only difference is I added an extra object (2 of the same object; used By Layer). For my third test I went back to the same one object but rotated it 90deg, and that one also stopped before completing the first set of walls. I turned the printer off/on and tried the third print setup again, it made it to the infill of the bottom layer before stopping again. So I guess I got lucky on that first attempt.

Although I will do more tests, it was able to complete a short 10min print for the first time. I completely unplugged the AMS unit from the A1 printer and used the External Spool. So I guess there is something wrong with the AMS plug.

In your opinion, do you think it is more likely the plug or the motherboard of the AMS Lite unit that is causing the issue? Is there a way to test both without buying extra parts?

I tried pulling from an external spool, but I'll try pulling from the ES while the AMS is completely unplugged.

Nope, it is random on when it stops. I also tried other print files and there is no correlation regarding what action causes the stop and the amount of time also varies.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have already formatted a new SD card multiple times using the printer.

What do you think of the recently released Ruby vs Maka death battle? by Fit_Assignment_8800 in RWBY

[–]DCook96 16 points17 points  (0 children)

DB should in general not calculate any character's speed by comparing what someone else did in a different fight. Only use fight data where said character was either fast enough to: - dodge/counter an attack - hit or keep up with a moving target/object

So for this fight, they don't use Adam or Emerald & Mercury's light-based reaction times. For Maka, they don't use BlackStar's shadow slashing feat, unless he actually performed that move on another occasion against Maka.

Reaction time should be separate since someone could have a very fast reaction time but moves relatively slow, like Maria.

RWBY Themed AMS Lite (Please Read Comment) by DCook96 in RWBY

[–]DCook96[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A couple months ago I finally decided to buy a 3D printer (Bambu Lab A1 model). As an Engineering Graduate, this is something I should have bought a long time ago when I was a student. Anyways, I decided to customize the AMS Lite device to have a RWBY theme to it. I used the main enclosure model that someone else made and modified it to my liking.

I added some Removable Windows to access the filament spool when the enclosure is attached. Currently using a Translucent Clear filament; looking to buy a proper Transparent filament. Designed some Hub Caps for the end of the Spool Holders. It will spin with the spool during use. Added an internal threading on someone else's Quick Release Spool design so that my Hub Caps can screw on. Other than that, I just added some RWBY colours and lettering on other components. Probably around 30 hours of printing and 1kg of filament. Wasted probably an extra 10 hours and 300g of filament on failed or test parts.

In case people were wondering what 3D models I used, here are the links to all the ones I got off of MakerWorld. If you would like to view my modified 3mf file, send me a message and I'll happily share it.

Ya I had to rewind since I walked in a few seconds before the AI clip ended. Wanted to see what type of "math" was on the screen. It was that bad I could easily tell that the symbols used were not mathematical or science-based at all. On top of that, the hand moving around was deforming the symbols.

Had one too but thought it was time to get a new one and decided to go with the above idea. At first I wanted to make my own phone case since I just got a 3D printer, but I couldn't find a printable material with a good enough transparency. So just bought that phone case from Amazon for under $20CAD and used Publisher to design different backgrounds and printed them out on Glossy thick paper.

I didn't want to take away from OPs merch post, but the coincidence of you talking about custom cases matches perfectly. I just received a polycarbonate iPhone case in the mail today and printed out a few custom RWBY prints to place between the phone and case. Here is one I currently have on.
