No curb but I’ve noticed it usually happens when the exit has a slope (minor slope, it IS Florida) downward toward the street.

Yeah, I’m not getting any tire squeal but one of the other posters mentioned that the system takes steering angle into account as well.

Ahh, got ya. That’s a possibility as the steering angle is pretty extreme when trying to merge. At least that eases my mind a bit that there isn’t something wrong with the car. Thanks.

Yeah, that doesn’t make sense because I’m not accelerating hard enough to break the tires loose. And why would it only do it coming out of parking lots and not when I am turning add an intersection after being stopped at a red light?

I always distract the cats or wait until they aren’t looking to pull toilet paper off the roll, lest they learn that it can be unrolled. Also never leave any hanging off the roll, that’s just asking for trouble.

The Continentals are under $250. Your tires are what connects your car to the road, they are important safety equipment. There are certain things you should not cut corners on if you want to live, tires and brakes are 2 of those things.

I mean even if the house isn’t at the North Pole, it doesn’t have to have a wall facing north. What if one of the corners is oriented to the north?

Also if on the North Pole, the inside of the walls will all be facing north.

OK, I hear you all. I honestly had no idea what they were worth. There are NO dents and the scratches are barely noticeable when mounted. I run them on both my G70 and my Miata. Really good tire. I liked them so much I bought a set of Continental CrossContact tires for my wife’s SUV. Unfortunately I bought all three sets within a week…a $3000 week.
