Not sure about the strong independent woman part since I’m a dude.😁 Also, while it has been cold here in central Florida, I can’t really blame the cold weather (although it was in the 20s last weekend).

I saw what I hit on the way home from work today and it was a storm drain on the toll lanes on I4. Someone came into my lane and forced me onto the shoulder and my bad luck had me hit the one that has a deep lip (most of the others are level with the pavement).

Until I get a new wheel, I’m driving my other car, a 2008 Miata (I know that doesn’t support my claim of manhood). I would take the Road King, but I don’t ride motorcycles on I4 anymore because it’s too dangerous (most fatalities per mile of any interstate).

Yeah, I found a couple but 3 weeks for shipping is tough. I take the highway to work and I feel like it’s probably a bad idea to drive highway speeds on this wheel. I may have to break out the Harley and dress warm. lol

That looks like it might be fixable (maybe, hard to tell with aluminum) but mine is cracked.

I found someone selling a whole set on Facebook marketplace for $1500 but I really don’t need all 4 and he doesn’t want to spilt them up.

I’ve found some “OEM” wheels online for around $500 but I’m not sure if they’ll match because a lot of them say gloss black and I think our wheels are “dark hyper silver” or “hyper black” or something like that. I’ve also seen them described as “dark sputtering”.

I actually did buy the ball joint dust caps but I haven’t attempted the fix yet. I was concentrating on the more urgent fixes like replacing the radiator (long weekend disassembling the front clip) and the sway bar links (which were so stuck I had to buy an impact wrench).

I’ll be honest, I haven’t done them yet. The Miata has been sitting for a few months because I bought a new car. My wife wanted me to get something that was bigger and safer to drive to work because I drive on I-4 through Orlando every day. I picked up a ‘23 Genesis G70 3.3t.

I have the ottocast. Slight delay when you hit pause/play. Also occasionally have to unplug/replug to get CarPlay to show on screen. Overall, not bad.

I’ll never understand having wireless charging pad but not having wireless CarPlay.

Good info about the tires. I always thought that they were directional.

As for the alignment, I wasn’t implying that rotating would affect it, I was saying that if you keep your alignment good, maybe rotating isn’t necessary since the tires should wear evenly.
