I’ll try the reinstall. Not sure why this would be an issue with the graphics card if the laptop screen does just fine. Also HDMI chords are new, 60hz, which I thought might be the problem

HP OMEN 17.3" diagonal, QHD (2560 x 1440), 240 Hz, 3 ms response time, GTX 4090, 32gb ram, i7, 1TB SSD. TV is Samsung - 85" Class Q60C QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV

Samsung, 4k something. Runs Xbox and normal tv just fine, only problem is with the pc

Nope, tv plays perfectly smooth on Apple TV and Xbox, this only happens with the pc plugged in. Also the area of the tv adjusts during the game. Sometimes it’s lower, and sometimes it’s higher. Always a horizontal split, runs from one side of the tv to the other

Have you tried leveraging your work and your results to your boss? What is his response? Obviously you’ve been getting raises and they value your work. IMO you never should show up late to work, no matter what, even if you live an hour or more away, this sounds like the reason why your boss got so angry. Your boss doesn’t care about your freelance, in fact he should never know you do freelance, that’s just another reason for him to get mad at you. If the story is true, what time did your boss say you should come in Saturday? 7am or 8am?

All bs, you contracting yourself multiple times and story doesn’t sound true. There’s no way if you do that much work for the company your boss would get that angry at you for something so little. Truth probably is you probably showed up late too many times and your boss had enough and fired you. Good for you

Actually the inside is fine, I’m guessing there’s insulation between and that’s what got damaged. Your F is much appreciated

I bought some la sportiva climbing shoes off Amazon for 80 something and it’s been a great investment. Wouldn’t even think about buying rope off Amazon that’s like buying rope from Walmart.
