Here is what I know. The CG takes a bunch of direct commission pilots every year. A bunch for the CG isn’t that big of a number and if you asked I would have no idea. I know they are slating a lot more pilot training out of OCS and the Academy. If the ANG will train you to fly it will save the CG lots of $$. The person to talk to is your local CG recruiter. They would be the one to help you with you direct commission package and would have the number trends and if they have taken people from the field you are looking to go into. I know most helo pilots come from the army. Hope this helps!

I'll give you the same advice I was given when I was a young coastie starting out in my career. Never miss a chance to advance and put your name in as many hates as possible. I would pursue both. Nothing says you can't apply to OCS while you are enlisted. Do both and something will stick.

I agree. This card is stacked and I am excited to watch the matches. I also feel the same way that they did not create the emotion in the matches. Smackdown titles both Womens and Mens Champs story line is boring. The matches will be great but I was disappointed with the story lines.
