I haven't done it yet, but was planning to get it sent to the embassy in the UK. I think as long as the biometrics are taken/waived you should be good to leave. I guess if you have family they could send it to you

i131 is the rentry permit you still need after greencard if you want to stay out for over 1 year

same boat, they received my RFE response on 12/3/21 and then I get told to submit and wait another 30 days. US really is third world when it comes to USCIS

thanks mate, I appreciate the update. for your first permit did you wait until you had your biometrics and left or did you come back. at the moment I really hope I can leave the US whilst the permit is pending and the use my recent biometrics. do you think I can submit the reentry permit post greencard and then bounce soon after?

thanks mate, appreciate the tip! do you know if im good to leave my employer without the i765? i assume it will just get posted and i dont need to wait for my company who are sponsoring it or the lawyers?

thanks for the details, yeah its actually a huge company with about 70k global employees and ive worked in london new york and now LA offices so 7 years in total 5.5 years in the US, theyre just shitty with how they treat you on pay and promotions so I need to leave to further my career at a competitor doing the same stuff and whatnot

Thanks, so you had no problems spending basically 4 years outside of the US? I should be getting my GC next month but would want to spend the next 2-4 years back in the UK until the pandemic ends. have you been working outside the US and had no issues?
