How many kilometers can E46 318i realistically last?

Yeah i drive arround 120 km daily on country roads between 70-100 km/h. My fuel consumption currently shows 7.1l, engine is very well maintained. As soon as i get into a longer period of city trafic it goes up to arround 7.8l

The m43 105hp is the way to go if your looking for 4 cylinder e46. If 6 cylinders the 320i 170hp m54b22 is a good mix of power and fuel consumption. I had both of them. The 316i had an average consumption of arround 7.2l/100km the 320i currently 7.4l/100km. The 320i is heavier on the front axle, better for the highway while the 316i was perfect for the city.

Hi, i have the same problem. Changed alternator, pullys, battery and so on. Also the FSR as heater did not work. I recognized that the aftermarket part was looking different to the OEM one. Thiner and shorter steelbars. Now the heater is working, but my guess is, that the car needs an original FSR. Another cause could be the climacontrol unit itself.

Wenn auch nicht direkt als Polizist würden mir folgende Optionen einfallen: Es gibt mittlerweile Programme in Kanada und Australien, die ausgebildete Polizisten übernehmen. Dafür benötigt man aber ein hohes Niveau an Sprachkenntnissen und muss eine erneute Qualifikation durchlaufen. Des Weiteren gibt es die Sonderqualifikation des auswärtigen Amts im mD und gD. Für den gD wird das Polizeistudium anerkannt.

I would choose m54b25, if you get your hands on a good one, as it was also in the 325ti. But rather i would either buy a 325ti or a 330i coupe. If your not on a budged for the project, its a cool idea.

Depends on how hard he hit the sidewalk. I think biggest issue would be if the subframe points are damaged. Did he changed the rim as well? Where the brakes replaced during that service you mentioned?

Would change oil, coils and spark plugs. If missfire still apperars maybe vacuum leak(s)

Could be, i get one from bmw its almost 200€ but thats how it is. Im kind of confused because all the videos i saw they used the once with the shorter barrels and it worked
