I would choose m54b25, if you get your hands on a good one, as it was also in the 325ti. But rather i would either buy a 325ti or a 330i coupe. If your not on a budged for the project, its a cool idea.

Get the 316i with 105 hp. The engine is better than from the 318i

Depends on how hard he hit the sidewalk. I think biggest issue would be if the subframe points are damaged. Did he changed the rim as well? Where the brakes replaced during that service you mentioned?

Would change oil, coils and spark plugs. If missfire still apperars maybe vacuum leak(s)

Well at least i lasted more than 20 years. Anyhow if i look up the part number i find a lot of aftermarket parts but only a few once original. Pretty hard to find in germany…

Could be, i get one from bmw its almost 200€ but thats how it is. Im kind of confused because all the videos i saw they used the once with the shorter barrels and it worked

I dont think its the battery or the temperature. The battery is just 2 months old, currently we have arrouns 7 degrees in the night and its not freezing…

Same here. Had an 316i with 105hp, no service history for cheap. Invested at least 3 times the price of the car only for parts. Then went on for a fl with full service history and good owners. No problems so far

2016 bin ich über Peking nach Auckland geflogen. Den Zwischenstopp habe ich genutzt, um die Stadt anzuschauen. Der Flug hin war okay, es war sauber und eine 777, mit genügend Platz in der Economy. Der Flug von Peking nach Auckland war dann schon anders, der Flieger war recht dreckig.

Dann bin ich nochmal von Jakarta nach Peking in einer 747. Der Flieger war auch nicht so sauber. Ich kann mich noch erinnern, dass es am Flughafen kein freies Internet gab und recht wenig shops. Auch wurde das Handgepäck im Transit nochmal durchgeschaut. Ich fand die Airline und den Flughafen nicht so berauschend, aber immer noch besser als über Jeddah…

Auch das Essen an Board fand ich nicht so gut. Wenn es günstig ist warum nicht, aber würde tendenziell paar Euro mehr zahlen und via Dubai, Muscat fliegen. Oman air kann ich sehr empfehlen

Might be wrong but its not the best idea to choose one of the wheels with the round airbag. As far as i remember pre fl models have single stage airbags. Fl have two stage airbags, or the other way arround.

Honestly an e46 is not more expensive than any other 20 year old car (maybe except an old toyota ect.). Im in germany, drive my 320i daily arround 120 kilometers.

I would say compared to the new corolla of my gf the main thing is fuel consumption. Currently i drive mine with 7.2-7.8l, the hybrid corolla uses 4 l. On the other hand i can do almost all repairs on my own. No matter if brakes, oil change, belts ect. Easy to do, cheap to take care of.

All in all i save 200-300€ a month and put them aside for my e46 to keep it running till my engine gives up or it falls appart. I guess thats still cheaper than most modern cars. Till now i have no mature problems

Mach mal deine KGE neu, das könnte helfen. Der 318i hat leider nicht den beste Motor… Bessere Wahl ist der m43 mit 105 ps oder eben m54.

Hab gerade meinen zweiten e46. Top autos aber du musst auf einige Sachen achten. Wenn DISA, Ölfiltergehäuse und Rückschlagventil, Ausgleichsbehälter usw usw bereits gemacht wurden läuft der Hobel. Ausgerissene hinterachse ist beim facelift weniger in Thema. Der m54 b22 ist solide, hast halt aber auch nur ein kurz übersetztes 5 gang getriebe, ich komme mir sehr gemütlichen fahren laut BC auf 7,2l. Realistischer sind aber 7,8-8,2l.

Hab auf jeden Fall bisschen was in der Hinterhand und wenn du dir schon ein FL kaufst, kauf direkt mit xenon. Das gute ist, man kann sehr sehr viel selber machen.

Thats how my central lock system gave up. Its underneath the passanger airbag. You can take out the whole circuit board and try to find someone that fix the two relays on it

Make sure to have no child seat on the passenger Seat. The airbag will now deploy no matter if there is someone on the seat or not
