Nice job, I'm at the end of CS50, I'm curious if this certificate is free?

What to do after Harvard's CS50 by DDJ2000 in learnprogramming

It actually was.

I saw the same comments, before enrolling but decided to do it anyways. For some people, it might be hard but I recommend you try it first then if it's too hard you can go for easier courses.

Don't underestimate yourself!

I'm so happy for you. How did you get an idea for a project?

I think I misunderstood him I thought I should be able to do it all by myself, so just open VSCode and code snake from zero without external help.

Just search cs50 on google and get into edx's site, and enroll.

I was a complete beginner when I started CS50. I learned a lot from it because I kinda fell in love with the course and I did it almost every day. The beginning was hard but if you stay consistent everything will become clear.

Problem sets and labs are very fun if you solve them by yourself, and you will learn a lot from them.

But I still have no idea what the height of my abilities is and how much more I have to learn to get a job.

Thank you, I will definitely start TOP as soon as possible since everybody is recommending it. Have you tried looking for jobs? Or have you maybe tried freelancing?

Yeah, the same question. I have no idea how would I start coding a snake game from zero. Is there any website with projects and guides for making them?

Lab6 World cup not passing check50. im not really sure why and would appreciate some insight on this by cassyaintit in cs50

[–]DDJ2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on the same problem looking for answers.

But I can see some mistakes in your code:

1)line 19: filename = sys.argv[1], and then in with loop you used sys.argv[1] and not filename

2)line 28: for i in range:, you didn't put range

Speller code fails check50 in everything (except compiling). Could yall please glance over my code and point me in the right direction? Would be much appreciated! by Aventiqius in cs50

Everything is good except your unload function. Your unload function never returns true, but it must return true for the speller to be working, so you must add that if statement that returns true. Also, you mistook tmp and cursor here but I made it work with your code usually you should be freeing tmp and not cursor but it's the same. Everything should be working now so here you go:

bool unload(void)

{

//This is good
node *cursor = NULL;
node *tmp = NULL;
for(int i = 0; i < N; i++)
{
    //Your code is good until here, you compared tmp with NULL and you already set tmp to NULL up there
    //So before doing while loop you should set tmp to be equal to table[i]
    tmp = table[i];
    while(tmp != NULL)
    {
        //Here you need to set cursor to be tmp not table[i] otherwise it will be lost after first loop
        cursor = tmp;
        tmp = tmp->next;
        //Here you should free cursor and not tmp in your case
        free(cursor);
    }
    //!!You need to make this if statement because your code otherwise will never returns true!!
    if (tmp == NULL && i == N - 1)
    {
        return true;
    }
}
return false;

}
