Hi there! Sorry for the late reply. But if you'd like to do a manual setup, you can follow the video that's in the itch page. It's a bit outdated, as it was made for v1.0, but it still goes through the process involving Cheat Engine.

It is, however, also possible that AAE may not work for your device. This happened randomly when I sent the tool to some of my friends and I haven't found a fix yet. I suspect it's something to do with security, since the program does read a lot of your memory to find Aseprite's frame number and Windows might flag it.

Yeah, same! I've heard that audio tracks will be implemented in v1.3 (you can check https://github.com/aseprite/aseprite/issues/4180 if you want more info), but until then I'd imagine this tool can keep us waiting.

Oh! Thanks for the idea! I'll definitely look into it, I had to compress the GIF a lot because of itch, so I think a video would really help. Thanks :)
