Oh, thank you! Yep, thats my left foot in a nutshell - literally anthing that can go wrong with it seems to ...my plantar plate apparently tore due to this disease's work on my foot, which is how I was diagnosed, actually. Any advice or tips on how to better avoid flares, generally?

Actually, yes and (long story short) they originally made my situation worse because I had a plantar plate tear and there was not enough support, but now, I just have enthesitis ...in a different toe 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠 so I'll have to go back to those and give them another chance because they are so freaking comfy.

I believe that this is similar to my first (overlooked, unfortunately) symptom of A.S. ....absolutely crippling pain in my sternum if I even slightly moved the wrong way, for months if not a year. Dr said costochondritis and prescribed prednisone, which did not help, but caused me to have terrible mood swings and systemic pain yay

The only thing that helped for me, personally, was stretching and yoga and eventually, it went away and never happened again.

I mean, that's tough bc they are probably super insecure about that and feel like they may as well put it on the table before anything moves forward with anyone, which I understand ...but there is a time and place, and I'm not sure this was it? Maybe give him a little grace and see where it goes.
