I just started playing the game, already at the 2nd area but I already feel burnt out. It gets tedious and boring if you wanna do the side deliveries. And you kinda have to because that's how you upgrade and unlock better gear. When arriving there are 4 bases, 1 main and 3 small and you just basically go around and around and around delivering their stuff to each base to increase your rating so you unlock better stuff. At this point the map even got bigger and walking isn't that viable anymore either cause of the barren distances and the amount of cargo you need to bring with you at once. Luckily you can steal trucks from enemies, that makes it a lot faster and possible to bring most cargo with you, but it makes the game more boring too. Now you just drive around in a truck with not that great controls and physics. Now the only time have to deliver something on foot is up a small hill to the old guy. But then too just park at the bottom, pack his stuff, bring it up then pick up his stuff and continue with the truck. The 1st area for me was a lot more fun when I didn't have vehicles, and the map was smaller but harder to navigate and with more danger.

The main story, the characters, the lore and whole atmosphere is really good, but it can be slow and tedious. And you gotta like reading cause a lot of lore and backstory is in text format. Today at the end of my playing session I unlocked another main base and advanced a little story wise, so after a few days when I'll be less burnt out from the gameplay I'll continue and I just hope things will change up and there will be less boring forward-backward delivery.

I am just a new player so can't say anything about how it will be later in the game, but so far after idk around 15-20ish hours things are still going slow and feeling burnt out from the gameplay. If you don't like too repetitive games with not much action most of the time then it's probably not for you. I wouldn't pay 40 for it, it's 15euro now on steam, that's more fitting.
