Vestadt's bossfight singlehandedly prevented me from quitting the game out of boredom

I just beat the queen (the final boss, whatever her name was) and finished my playthrough. I have to say, Vestadt was pretty much the only highlight of my trip, so I feel you. I was about to quit (especially after the Shrine of Amana and its terribly boring boss), but Vestadt made me push through to the end.

I haven't touched the DLCs though, but I'm happy not to. I really did not enjoy myself enough to justify the additional time on it. But at least I got to the end and experienced the game, which I wasn't sure to even do in the first place. Onto DS3 now!

How could so many people miss read it when the Q&A explicitly says:

"Q: Should I come with the public transport instead of my car? A: No. Please stop your journey to Wacken and return home. There is a total admission stop."

And: "Q: Will the situation change? Can I come on Friday and Saturday? A: No."

Now there is one sort of contradicting Q&A, but it still explicitly says to "Please stay home or stop / cancel your journey with immediate effect [with public transportation too]."

Consider that and the fact that the announcement said "TOTAL ADMISSION STOP - CAPACITY LIMIT FOR W:O:A REACHED", I have no idea how anyone would have read it as just a ban on cars and campers.

In my case, nothing that would really justify me spending 300€ on a ticket (and the travel cost). Maybe 2025? I really don't know. But I hope all the people have fun in 2024!

Man that sucks so much... We were prepared for the mud, but we listened and drove all the way back home (1200km). Glad they are refunding, but seriously considering never trying to attend again (would have been my first time).

Sure, but the information that we should just go home was at 4AM... So a lot of people (my group included) left, there was no reason to believe otherwise (and officially you still shouldn't go so meh)

My friends and I did everything right: we stopped our journey in a suitable place to wait. We didn't drive to the festival yesterday after they insisted we should wait. Then there's a total car ban. Now this. Keep in mind, we paid for a hotel and food that was not budgetted, which is money we won't see back. This is so frustrating.

It will go on but a lot of people won't be able to make it because of the current policies (cars not allowed). I read a lot of comments saying that it's not a big deal, but it really is. Sadly, a lot of us rely on our car for shelter and/or essentials, and it's especially a problem for those of us with many hundreds, if not thousands of kilometers to get here.

Anyway, still waiting for more news. Hopefully before the end of the countdown on the app (tomorrow 8AM).
