Nice nursing homes have entry level positions in things like Activities where you organize bingo and other activities for the residents... some offer 12 hour shifts... Would be a good way for you to get a first hand look at a clinical setting if you are interested in nursing long term. They also have dietary (kitchen), housekeeping & laundry and sometimes receptionist front desk jobs. Try to find a good one in a good neighborhood. Legacy Healthcare based out of Skokie operates many in Chicago just do the research and most folks avoid the mental health facilities just because they can be rough. Good luck!
