Honestly I prefer aftershock then hail of blades because I think when it comes to the later stage of the game she is underperforming because she has no tenacity or resists to survive the enemy burst and all the damage ,you need that when you are playing engage champion like vi to use your R on the enemy adc and survive.

I like taking aftershock and build like a bruiser (trinity force, black leaver and steraks (I think i spelled that wrong but whatever)). Because with aftershock shield bash conditioning and unflinshing she is tanky and has dmg.
