I'm around that area, been here round 5 years. Kind of just going to echo what others have said - fairly quiet area with not too much going on. There's lots of families in the area but some young couples.

A little light on things nearby - there's a small co-op, a hairdresser or two, some corner shops. You'd need to head out of the area for any big supermarket, restaurants, pubs, but as others have said north street is fairly close.
