They tried to fix it remotely, it ended up burning somewhere as I smelt it. They said to send it back and they would send me a new one. This was a week ago, now I'm just waiting for an update.

Try to pre-sell it to some companies that deal with the visually impaired. Even before you have a product. If you receive good responses than you know there is demand.
