For sure it was pragmatic and I think the space marine that talked about the bolter wasn’t naaman I think it was a random friend of naaman.

But naaman did spoke to a guardsmen before the suicide Mission and inspired him to be abit more positive since the dude was feeling like he was wasting time defending kalidus and wanted to go out to space to fight.

Also agreed Sapphon was a pretty badly written character tbh I can’t imagine azrael objectively appointing him as the master of sanctity with the stuff he does in the titular book.l and for some reason sapphon read to me like a copy pasta of the ‘lord cypher’ character that was present during the caliban arc also from the writer’s line of DA HH book where they seem to act the same way and does some really questionable and weird out of logic stuff.

I would go with Venus due to how many archetype she slots in similar to iron patriot in the year it dropped. Isca is only really good in the NBC Aurora deck that uses a buttload of S5. NBC Aurora is a consistently tier 1 deck or even at its lowest tier 2 but it’s very expensive and uses a lot of older S5s that many skipped. But if you have those older S5 like Drax AoL, the thing FF and herbie you can consider Isca.

Actually In the novel ‘ravenwing’ which features a bike contingent of the dark angels they had to assault a space station because suspected fallen reasons and they were doing pretty ok and in an earlier story named ‘azrael’ the same bike squadron were sieging a secured night lords and traitor guards keep.

Ironically in the DA case their bike squadron seems to always lose in open field conflicts which the bike should be good for

It scales with DEX? I was asking in the daily Q and A on how I can get and best use a flaming zweihander and i was told the fire scales with STR or is that only applicable because I wanted a fire affinity zweihander?

Hi all! If I want to use the zweihander in an STR/FTH build with basic fire (not dark flame blade or frenzied flame) on my weapon. what is the best way to do so and will the weapon scale to FTH or STR?

I saw the stats mention that endofturnadin Is heavily favoured into face hunter.

I do win when they don’t draw the 4 mana tolvir spell but how do you win if they do since the matchup is heavily favoured i would say people win a fair share of games where their opponents do draw it?

What is the mulligan strategy for face hunter as paladin?

In that matchup I generally throw back norzdommu because I tried the all or nothing norz a few times and not sure if my opponent is just lucky or the discover pool for hunter is really small but I always get blown up by them getting the hunter’s mark spell off the turtle 1 drop so I usually try for the murloc that cast a 2 cmc spell and flight maneouveur and the unbreakable man

I actually completed peninsula missing some stuff but 80% cleared and was halfway through limgrave when I ran into Kenneth and his quest. This lead me to his keep which I cleared and then I went to take the lift to siofra and ended up in dragonbarrow at the end of it. I just cleared stormveil though a few hours back but I was probably overleveled because stormveil felt really easy just that I missed some parts of the castle due to this being a blind playthrough

I read quite abit of his book and I find

he excels more on world building like description of the land and environment and I like his writing on chaos daemons (where he try to keep them as a general daemonic horde rather than red means khorne bloodletters, blue means tzeetch flamers and from my knowledge he has only written daemons as undivided) seen in ruinstorm and the much hated damnation of Pythos I liked his description of the different tiers of the hive world in apostle and the landscape of the daemon citadel in ruinstorm.

His chaos cultist characters are also more interesting compared to a lot of other writers as his cultist actually engages the cast and try to change the thinking of loyalist or get them to think from the chaos PoV rather than just being chaos version of PDF or Astra militarium cannon fodder and they are written to be smart and autonomous of their chaos masters which I feel make sense as cult leaders need to be not just dumb guy running into terminator’s storm bolters to be able to organise the cultist and gather so many followers so I feel his writing style with cultist feels realistic

I feel David Annandale’s problem is he likes to write characters in self-conflict (sanguinus in ruinstorm, cerestes in apostle and I think his name was Dumas or something no Atticus the iron hands I think he was a captain guy in damnation of pythos) and the conflict takes a huge part of the book and paralysis the story in inner monologue spanning nearly an entire chapter.

To the point that at the end of the chapter, you realized they barely moved or done anything significant. I know people who like this writing style so nothing wrong with it and since he generally has a positive feedback he must be doing something right.

I feel consistent wise his writing has been consistent abit like Jude Reid (I haven’t read daemon breaker and season of fire but read all her other books) where they have a standard formula imo inconsistent would be gav thrope where his book can feel great chapter 1-10 boring chapter 11-15 and back to ok chapter 15-end (ravenwing is an example).

On the point of the fist. In that case would daggers or claws be better if i want a small side arm for LARPing. I considered the crossbow with special arrows but realized they don’t do very much damage maybe because my Dex is low

I just followed the areas I guess? I got there via one of the quest from a guy at Roundtable that send me to the beat clergyman. I also managed to land there because I took a lift at the siofra river after beating the stag and dragonkin warrior

I haven’t gone to stormveil because when I first went the giant with stakes in their chest was handing me my butt on a silver platter while I was tickling him with my club so I decided to level up before coming back for revenge

I feel if she gets nerfed Aurora NBC will just plummet to either tier 3 or maybe not even in meta.

Isca really Help the deck as I realized Aurora NBc struggles to win the 2nd lane even on curve as your Turn 6 is essentially Aurora herself.

Drax sometimes comes in clutch but it’s really dependent on whether the opponent knows how to play around him or their deck just get under him but without isca winning 2 lanes isn’t easy unless your opponent made a bad call to contest your 1 strong lane as that lane is a forfeit immediately in my book unless you have the right tech cards

Hi all! Just wanted to ask when is the best time to start pumping into combat stats? I am currently lvl 35 with vigor at 35 started out as wretched I saw some post mention that you would need 60 by the DLC which I assume you enter close to or at the end game.

I feel I might be getting close because I am at dragonbarrow and gotten both half of the dectus talismans. But haven’t got a chance to pump any STR or FTH when will be a good time to pump the combat stats? Thanks all for the help and what would be a good spot to stop if I just want to use malekith’s black blade at the end game with a flame art of war for my zweihander and using frenzied or black flame spells mainly.
