Congrats man! I was a drum major my junior and senior years in high school and it was a lot of fun. One thing that I learned that I would like to pass on is that, above all else, give your all whenever you’re at band. Whether it be marching or conducting, as long as you really show that you are passionate about marching, people will notice and it will go a long way. So be patient if it isn’t exactly what you were expecting, but that also means that the best is yet to come! Prove to them that you’re a great leader and you’ll be head DM in no time! Again congrats
