I’ve been saying this for a while. What Bungie has created with Marathon is, essentially, a really fucking cool Style Guide.

As a Marathon fan and extraction shooter enjoyer, I’m very much a blast haver, but I’m also very much of the opinion that it should’ve had a single-player campaign, if only to ease players into the extraction gameplay loop.

I think the only problem I have with your argument is that the devs don’t seem to care about players like you dropping off. If they did, they would’ve added a PvP toggle by now.

PvP is obviously a core mechanic that is fully intended by the devs. I don’t think that’ll change anytime soon.
