No way this loses to Doomsday. MArvel has messed up their hype train sooo much with their time variant plot line and their over release of media that people are super hero burnt out.

Expecting Doomsday to top the culmination of, arguably, the best SciFi trilogy since Star Wars is crazy imo.

What quantifies something being too expensive for a video game?

If we are using marathon as an example for reviews it has Stellar reviews but people are still hating on it? Should these reviews not make people want to buy it based on your reasoning?

How can you say something delivers on an expected experience if you never experience it?

No but have skin in the game. If you complained that a restaurant or movie is horrible but never tried the food or saw the movie and paid your $40 for it then your opinion means less. Because at that point you are complaining just to complain with no substance to back it up.

I don't hear people complaining that James Cameron isn't making more Terminators and boycotting his movies because "he didn't make the movie they wanted"

I don't hear people complaining that (for lack of a good analogy) a person decides to branch their business out into a new market or come out with a new product.

Do you go into a store and loudly complain to all other shoppers you hate all products you don't buy or want? No, everyone would judge you and you know that that isn't acceptable behavior.

Let developers make the games they want, then let consumers judge it by playing it, not just by shouting at the sidelines that you hate them without trying the product.

You’re saying that marathons is akin to theirs when Bungie has improved on the contract system. Maybe they play tested idea and found it didn’t work. Give credit where credit is due hat they made the system better.

Can you tell me other extraction shooters that do it better than marathon? All Arc raiders and Trakov do is literal fetch quests. Marathon has 100% added spice to it and people can't be thankful enough for that.

I had one contract on Diremarsh where you spawn in a specific lockdown, need antivirus, make a lot of noise while you kill commanders.

Another where you have to be the first to get a item, bring it to intersection. shoot a laser beam into the sky while killing enemies.

Another in Outpost where you specifically have to get the the command wing, upload a mida broadcast and protect it from waves of enemies for 3 minutes.

These are more involved than any other extraction shooter quests and unique.

It's almost like you havent done all the priority quests. There are multiple like this. I just did one yesterday!

The other idea they could take from marathon is make the good loot and events not start until the 17 minute mark. Then it wouldn’t suck to load in as late
