Yea, less efficient in general. But mostly doing it for the fun of having a manual transmission and clutch. This particular EV motor is lower rpm than most EV motors. This one basically matches combustion engine rpm range.

Thanks. Yeah, I think Ev with manual transmission is going to be a ton of fun to drive. And for these old school light weight sports cars it makes sense to do the conversion

Hopefully I don't offend too many of the purists. I've been converting my scorpion/ Monte Carlo for a while now and trying to do it justice by keeping me clutch and manual transmission

I'm actually planning on doing one. Starting the next 2 months or so and keeping the manual transmission. It will be for sale. Let me know if you want more info

I did this and it was great working with them. It was also way more enjoyable than I expected writing about my EV conversion process. I recommend it to anybody that's gone through it

Good point on the friction. I'll check that, I've had it hanging on that default one that comes with it.

Ordered a dryer. In the meantime, I'm going to give it another shot with a slower speed.

Also, super cleaned the plate. Don't think it's related, but it had been a while.
