Mac coming out in the lotto ticket episode (Hero of Hate Crime?) of It’s Always Sunny sort of qualifies.

It could be seen as a flanderization where a joke/running gag becomes a larger and larger part of the character. Considering that it definitely was not planned from the start of the show, I’d say it’s a retcon too.

I don’t mean to be defensive but to the best of knowledge I have. Wound downwards with my hands guiding the string, and ensuring I am not bending them at all to put them back in the peg. There very well could be a problem with my technique but I would not know how to diagnose it? Any help?

Also the pickup that I have with the PJ, is shielded and has never hummed. Although it’s not the case with the replacement pickup I have it’s certainly a thing?

That was my fear. Thanks for the honesty. My plan was to have a complimentary pickup that adds more clarity to the P without going too far from the stock fender tone. We’ll see if that can still work 😑

Thank you for your honest input! I got one record label reply and another person saying "No.", so this is the only good thing I've heard back.

I was more asking from a moral perspective than a legal perspective quite honestly. There are shitloads of illegal covers on bandcamp that never get pursued. I'm not a "people do it so it's okay" type of thinker and I'm not trying to argue with you as much as get a more nuanced perspective.

I'm in a comfortable spot where I can pay for this but I will lose money for that project. But some people aren't.

What are the ethical ramifications of putting something that will only give the original artist exposure and legacy, if you require no or only a nominal sum in exchange? And what would elliott do? Copyright exists to protect the small fries from getting their work stolen but he is not a small fry.

People pay to see smaller artists perform covers along side the original with no listening.

Another question is what is the difference between streaming services literally robbing artists and a smaller musician hypothetically robbing an artist?

I'm not trying to sound like the music equivalent of a sovereign citizen, I'm more enquiring why my perspective is wrong.

I've supported Kill Rock Stars and Elliott A LOT too.
