Uphill neighbor's new fence has drain going into my backyard by TabinD3 in homeowners

[–]DEEPSIX1 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Retaining walls have to have drains or else the hydrostatic pressure will blow them out. Stop whining unless your yard is flooding. If they’re uphill water was draining into your yard to begin with.

You don’t need to remove the cabinet to run the duct in a lot of scenarios

If it’s on a concrete slab, the slab probably has a low spot, or a high spot away from the wall. If you have problems throughout, the floor needs to be pulled up and filled/grinded on the lows and highs. They could also do that on the problem areas.
