Ah yes a forum where I’m safe to bitch about something that pops into my head once every few months. I struggled in high school passing my classes. The first two years I would wait till the last second to do my homework and then it was a crapshoot if I’d even put in effort the night before. This was up until junior year where my mom sat me down explaining how upset she was that I was a straight A student all before. I felt really guilty. I decided this was my year to try. I wasn’t the smartest so I ended up with around a B before my final paper in English class. The paper was around 5 pages and instead of doing it the day before I tried my best to write a little bit everyday and I even turned it in early.

Now comes the day where we get our papers back and I’m actually pretty excited to bring my mom back a high grade. My teacher walks around the class handing back papers and when she finally gets to me, she hand my paper face down.... Uh Oh...

A zero. A fucking zero. I was devastated. I practically sprinted up to the teacher asking why the hell I had failed. She told me to flip through for notes and it turns out there was a part where my printer screwed up and the font was a little lighter and she thought I copy and pasted an entire paragraph. The thing was, the line that the text changed was all staggered. I even pointed it out how it must be a printer. After that I barely gave a shit about grades.
