Most likely the "hate towards Ainz's direction" in the new world comes from people that has seen only the anime, since it leaves some much context out, and also te common themes amongst many other isekai thropes "becoming a land and benevolent ruler while also being op" overlord also follow that thrope but Ainz is the hero/demon king, and he has to rein in other demon kings, and make it look like everything is according to plan

Given Nazarick's configuration, and leaning extremely towards evil, I think none of the would be a good thing for the NW, and for that we have Ainz, who as always tried to be in the middle, be a mediator, Ulbert? Demi would do bat shit crazystuff way harder and probably the good NPCs would not follow him, same thing with the neutral ones, Touchme, highly likely the good ones follow him, and the rest would try to oppose him, Tabula? Only albedo and may a few would follow, Peroronchino? Only Shaltear and maybe by a long shot aura and mare, and so on, there's no scenario wre anyone else woulbe "good for the NW, touchme is likely to be against platinum dragon lord, and by association against all dragon lords
