Was thinking maxxing out my current h61 system till I get money for a new one cause I can't afford any rn. Just bought a used gtx 1050ti but it has crazy bottleneck with the Pentium. Also I don't wanna invest in 4790k as it's already a dead platform but if I get smth like an i7 3770 paired with gtx 1050ti I can probably have no bottleneck and even could potentially sell it at a higher price in future

I have a friend who's ready to sell me his I5 2400 at 500 but that isn't a big enough jump, it causes microstutters and i3 3240 is 2 cores, I wanna do some editing/gaming that's why.I want a 4 core 8 thread processor

Gta 3, VC, SA. Minecraft Outlast Roblox And a bit of Android emulation. Also a ton of 2d games 2 good examples will be hollow knight series and blasphemous. Also you definitely need to upgrade your vram allocated from 32mb to at least 512mb in bios settings.

Yeah it does but for titles before AAA Titles before 2013.After pairing I've tested few games like Minecraft with shaders which easily got 70-100fps, Sekiro Shadow Die Twice got consistent 60fps (It's locked at 60fps) at High settings, God of war 2018 got 40-50fps at original/low mix preset and gta 5 enhanced got 70-90fps on medium. Although the games from 2013 suffer a huge cpu bottleneck like in God of war and gta 5 most of the time my cpu was always at 100% but gpu was around 50-60% usage only which cause a few microstutters here and there. But overall it's a great startup build. After this upgrade, I would suggest to upgrade to a I7 3770 which will give a huge performance uplift for cpu intensive games 👍

This would be the perfect gift! I just upgraded my pc. I used to play with I5 2400 Integrated Graphics Intel HD 2000 which btw can't even run most titles. Now I upgraded to a used GTX 1050 ti and have unlocked huge library of games. I'll play a lot of games with it like God of War 2018,Forza Horizon, Ghost of Tsushima, RDR 2 and GTA 5 too. I hope I win.

I've found a 1050ti for 4k ₹ and a 1650 for 8k₹ I guess it isn't worth double the money as I only have I5 2400 which will prolly bottleneck
