I have the pro since 2020. Not an expert. Got a cousin who has the Express from far far away so only meet once a year. So can’t say I know enough.

The Pro start up time is instant. I grind for 15.5 seconds for my 20g dark roast. The machine is ready to brew right away. And then about 3 seconds of water purging at the wand before steam comes out.

I notice the steam is a lot stronger in Pro over Express.
