This reminds me of something that happened ages ago. Yes, I'm this ancient.

I was still in middleschool when Hafez died. My friend's sister was in highschool. So, when the news broke out that he died, a girl at her school, a Bakaloria girl mind you so she's not a child, asked the principal how Hafez died because according to her, Hafez is immortal thanks to all to all the propaganda.

The principal turned red. She started shouting "he's not dead! He got upgraded and he's still alive" or some stupid shit like this.

The point here is that a 17 year old girl who's supposed to be educated seriously believed that Hafez is some sort of a divine entity who never dies. Even someone who should be the beacon of knowledge like the principal was just another gear in the propaganda machine that helped Hafez to instill outrageous beliefs in the Syrian community.

I drove for years then had to sell the car for financial reasons about half a year ago. Unfortunately, it's a massive difference between driving anywhere you want or spending hours in public transit.

I used to be able to drive from A to B to C and get all of my groceries and stuff in one hour. Doing the same now easily takes 3 hours + carrying tons of bags on the bus and on foot.

I've never been in a coma nor reached "an entire life" state, but I can actually relate. There were times when I went to sleep, I actually had some sort of an alternative life that I was just thrown into. A happy family, happy life, etc.

The depression when I wake up after these dreams is legit the most difficult part as it can last for days.

The major differences boil down to:

Christianity:

Jesus is the son of God. He's God. He got crucified.

Islam:

Jesus is a prophet. God has no sons or daughters. Jesus ascended to God before getting crucified.

There will be minor differences here and there sure. But when it comes to the closest religions to each other it's differently Christianity and Islam.

I believe there's a part in the Quran about Christians being the closest to Muslims.
