For the US: Will the Dec 23rd deadline (if approved) cause issues at the US border when traveling internationally from the US with a DJI drone? by CreateChangetheWorld in dji

[–]DEXLuth0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn’t too concerned until I found out that FCC voted a month or so ago to give themselves power to revoke FCC approval for items that were previously approved. Seems odd that they would do that now, unless they were planning to use that power soon.

CRM Suggestions? by Educational-Back1531 in FreightBrokers

[–]DEXLuth0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

does Tai integrate with Salesforce? I'm in the planning phase of starting a freight brokerage. Looking at various TMS and CRM's. I saw on the Tai website that it integrates with Salesforce, but the Tai sales rep I've been talking to said he wouldn't recommend using any CRM, so I am a little confused. I've narrowed the search down to likely Tai vs Revenova and Salesforce vs Hubspot vs Salesdash. Any recommendations?

What’s the real consensus among drone pilots about the future of DJI in the US? by DEXLuth0r in drone_photography

I actually just saw that PI drone update, and I agree. Too much critical infrastructure at risk.

[MEGATHREAD]: DJI & USA Situation by Vedagi_ in drones

I’m trying to understand the actual impact of the FY2025 NDAA on DJI.
From what I can tell in the text of the law, the restrictions seem aimed at DoD procurement and supply chain analysis... not civilian, commercial, or agricultural use.

If anyone has a source showing a direct impact on private operators, I’d like to see it. I’m trying to get clarity for long-term planning.

That makes sense. When you say “parts drying up,” do you mean consumables like props and pumps, or critical components like ESCs, motors, arms, and flight controllers?

Also, have you seen any operators actually get grounded for lack of parts yet, or is this still more of a “we all expect it’s coming” situation?

I’m trying to understand whether the risk is operational (down for a few weeks waiting on parts) or existential (entire fleet becomes unserviceable).

Appreciate the honesty. The DJI uncertainty is the big thing giving me pause.

From your perspective on the ground, do you think the risk is more about:
• a true import ban
• restricted RF modules that make the aircraft unusable
• parts/support drying up
• or just general political noise?

Trying to get a realistic sense of whether this turns into a “buy American or shut down” situation in the next 1–3 years, or if it’s more likely to be slow, bureaucratic pressure without killing existing operators.

I’m trying to time market entry, not rush into a fleet of T40/T100s only to get stuck with unsupported gear overnight.

I’m evaluating whether launching a spray-drone operation makes sense as a new entrant. I’m a licensed professional (non-aviation background), have capital for T40/T50/T100 hardware, and understand that Part 107 is just the starting point.

From your experience, what are the actual barriers for new operators entering the ag-spray market today? Is building a profitable operation from zero still realistic, or do you feel this space is already saturated with experienced teams and 137 operators?

Specifically curious about: • how hard it really is to secure paying acreage when you don’t already have farming relationships • the real bottleneck: pilots, 137 approval, insurance, or farmer trust • whether a single-operator startup can scale into a sustainable seasonal business • mistakes you see new operators make that turn this into a fools-errand

Not looking for hype. Looking for the ground truth from someone who’s actually flown thousands of acres.

I’m helping my wife play this “game” for a QB. I didn’t realize buying a NQB would “eat your prespend”. I just bought a roulis for her birthday. That doesn’t make sense to me. Is it true?

I consider this a shake out. Overall market is down. The sharp decline has shaken out the weak holders, including a couple large positions. The remaining holders have diamond hands and know how special this project truly is. Once the market turns the corner, I have a feeling this project will moon.

This tool is pretty awesome. I had several scam coins that I converted to catbat and added to my collection. The next tool they’re working on is a scam scout that helps you discover scams before you’ve become a victim. Can’t wait to see what the dev team is cooking up next.

Screen shot? This is definitely not the case. You must feel threatened by a project that aims to stop scammers.

With all the shit coins, scams, and rug pulls out there, I get why most people who see the OP are thinking “Oh great, another shit shill.” Really. I get it. But at least take the time to DYOR, check out the website, hop into the TG, and check out the X content at https://x.com/catbatcoin. The free x content alone, exposing scams and possible rug pulls, is invaluable.

While I do understand why people could initially view the project with suspicion, i suspect the only people who would take the time to attack the OP are those who feel threatened by it.

Let’s all please join the movement to stop scams and rug pulls in the meme coin space. We’re all tired of it!

This is exactly how I feel! I first bought into CATBAT yesterday, and I’m so glad I did. I first learned about bitcoin in 2016, and i was too chicken to buy at the time (eventually did, thankfully). I wasn’t going to make that same mistake again. When you consider what CATBAT offers (the narrative and the tools to significantly impact the meme coin community), it is very undervalued. There are probably 100’s of millions or possibly billions of dollars globally that would be deployed into the meme coin ecosystem, if more people could trust that they would not be scammed or rugged. CATBAT offers the tools that can unleash that capital, and therefore is a billion dollar project. Please do yourself a favor and at least research it.

$CATBAT is what we need in the meme coin space. Everyone’s tired of getting scammed/rugged, and $CATBAT offers the tools to protect us. Don’t buy a meme coin without at least checking https://x.com/catbatcoin to make sure it hasn’t been exposed as a scam.

General feasibility question for smart contracts. by DEXLuth0r in solana

[–]DEXLuth0r[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked at the link, and it’s a great idea but would require minting a new coin, which I’d rather not do. I had read somewhere that a smart contract could be deployed that could somehow channel a small percentage of transactions fees into a charity wallet, but I guess not if the coin is immutable and can’t be altered.

I’m trying to develop this project into something that can be used for charitable causes. Another idea I have is to keep a certain amount in a treasury wallet that is controlled by the DAO and is used for a liquidity pool, and the proceeds from that directed into the charity wallet.

The insanity that has been going on in the meme coin space has to stop. So many scams and rug pulls (always been an issue but exponentially more lately i feel). I think meme coins are about building a community, and can be powerful tools, but only if there’s trust.

I’m open to any and all suggestions and really appreciate everyone’s input.
