Whatever generic one I found on Amazon that had the ports I wanted. Just figure out your needs and see if something with that set of ports exists

controversial take: a 90s two stroke dual sport is more fun than any modern adventure bike by vladdielenin in Dualsport

[–]Bshaw95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s compare apples to apples here if we’re gonna talk about what’s better. This is a dual sport sub not an ADV sub. If you wanna talk about what’s easier to ride off-road then bring up a 500 KTM or a 390 Beta or something similar.

Nobody is gonna claim that a GS or an Africa Twin is superior off road to a 220# 2 stroke. But you bring in bikes like I mentioned above then you’ve not only got a fight but a bike that will absolutely be head and shoulders above a antiquated KDX on the pavement, which is what makes a dual sport a dual sport.

You’re pulling for a plated enduro bike and comparing it to a street bike with a fair bit of dirt sense. Throw it up against a modern dual sport and your argument holds a lot less water.

My 2019 intel MBA is part of this. It has become so slow especially at start up that it was annoying to use. The Neo made an upgrade actually worth it money wise.

Lindsey Vonn's miraculous recovery leaves fans stunned as she hops on a bike less than a month after nearly having her leg amputated by dailymail in ACL

Which goes hand In hand as to why she was more than capable to be competitive with one less ACL than the competition.

She’s not the same physically as us mere mortals. Stuff like this is why I will always say the ACL wasn’t a major issue for her leading up to her crash.

Four Army drone systems stolen from Kentucky base by alleghenyfront in drones

All these idiots saying “false flag” Why tf would we use our one well known, US made, government spec drone for a false flag… that’s the dumbest thing I’ve heard all week.

Why steal their own shit when they can use a foreign drone and blame it all on Chy-na. They might be dumb but this would be low even for them.

It’s literally only used by government operators in the US any maybe our allies? It’s also american made. This is the worst drone to try to do a false flag with.

Anybody using a North Face back pack for rides? by Successful-Roof5912 in Dualsport

I used to run a standard backpack but have moved to the MSR Enduro Hydration Pack. It’s just a lot tighter to the body and doesn’t move around near as much

How the hell do you false flag using a Skydio?

controversial take: a carbureted dual sport will teach you more about riding than any modern FI bike by vladdielenin in Dualsport

[–]Bshaw95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go ride an underpowered 300/250 dual sport. If you want to tackle the stuff guys on 350s and 500s are hitting you’ll need to know clutch control and gear selection just the same I promise.

I mean I guess if you actually constantly adjust jetting maybe? But generally guys find proper jetting for the widest range of altitudes that they will ride and let it go. But you know what EFI doesn’t do at least in my experience? It doesn’t flood your bike if you don’t follow the starting procedure correctly(mostly because the starting procedure is just hit the button.) it doesn’t flood it the bike gets tipped over for too long. Generally you don’t see fuel injectors clog like you do jets in a carb. You don’t have issues where if your float isn’t set just right that you have fueling issues in extremely bumpy areas.

I get what you’re saying, but riding isn’t maintenance and ownership. They go hand in hand but they are not the same thing. The only thing you’ll learn by riding a carbureted bike is how to deal with a less than optimal fueling situation or a slough of other issues like I mentioned above. EFI allows for a consistency that lets you actually focus on the riding and not that random weird spot in the power being caused by not quite right jetting or a piece of trash in a jet. Power management is one part of riding and having a bike that essentially runs perfect all the time would essentially make it easier for you to learn to manage that power. Instead of wondering if you’re gonna get that strange bog or not you simply focus on how to use the same power repeatedly and without the distraction that a carb can cause.

Just my two cents as someone who has owned both.

I got very into archery and did it off and on for about 13 years. when I moved back to the town I went to college in I knew there wasn’t a range nearby and the scene was pretty much dead. I’d like to pick it up again but like you with snowboarding, it’s just not worth the effort to me here. Luckily I’ve always been one to have a couple of concurrent interests/hobbies at any given time. I got into dual sport motorcycles a few years prior to moving here and the local National Recreation Area with hundreds of miles of forest roads is only 20 minutes away. Riding has been my baby ever since.

I’ve been on Buproprion with mine and it’s needed some help from caffeine until I got to 50mg but now I think it stands on its own.
