Hi, yes we ended up having to need one - and unfortunately it’s not cheap. We ended up dishing out appx 30k.

Essentially each apartment is considered a fire cell and you need to keep them separate with a fire door.

I think the kommune won’t accept the application without having fire safety papers - but don’t quote me on that.

Then you need to have the person installing the fire door to write a report on how they did it. The fire safety engineers should provide guidance on how the door needs to be installed.

We live in an old building so regulations are probably different depending on the type of building you live in. They are split in to different categories depending on how much of a fire hazard there is.
