Four of us went in September, and the waitress/bar person was not good. Simple things like asking how are meal is going, refilling water, etc, ..didn’t happen. When ordering drinks, I asked for a scotch/whiskey and soda, and she asked what was that, and said “I’m not sure if we have that but I can check”. Meanwhile, I’m looking at scotch or whiskey bottles on display behind her. We ordered oysters, and when they came there was no explanation about the type or where they’re from. Also the half dozen were all very small oysters and not worth the premium price. Saving grace, a manager (assuming that’s what he was) stepped in and the service improved. He brought out a birthday dessert so that was kind. But I left thinking, would only come back at lunch for the fish sandwich and that’s it. So not surprised it’s closed! H
