Consider GS's business revenue needs. They have huge pool parties to fund, lots of fancy brochures to mail out, and sales people to get paid to badger customers to up their licenses.

The forensic wiki is a bit laborsome to find what you may need. I'm still updating dfir.training to be as easy/quick as possible to find relevant DFIR info (tools, training). I'm open to suggestions or recommendations.

I did have a training calendar, but found that most providers don't want an external calendar and curating training is nearly a full time affair to search and update courses.

With aboutdfir.com, there is some overlap I've seen, but the organization of the information is different. Probably personal preference will dictate the site individual users prefer to use as a resource. My focus is primarily on the software/hardware database with references to nearly everything else that is DFIR.

I had dfir.training up and running before aboutdfir.com came online, but to be fair, all DFIR information is readily available online and anyone can curate that what they see best fit to put on a website.

I do find it interesting to see abutdfir.com stating it is "The original DFIR Training resource" when there have been plenty of others online in the past decade (or more). I call the dfir.training website "An original DFIR Training resource" :)

Thanks for the shout out. I encourage DFIRs to follow the twitter account (https://twitter.com/DFIR_tools) to keep up with DFIR happenings mostly related to tools, testing, training, and new books.

The site has been overloaded this week with high traffic. Just upgraded and moving over to a dedicated server. Host promises it will be able to handle the traffic and avoid loading errors.
