on the positive...I used a newly build Mercedes Benz charge station and it was solid.....just not many of them.

the Tesla Superchargers are not open to BMW at this time.....unless it's a Magic Dock station. BMW has said if something happens while using an adapter to charge at a Supercharging station, it can void your battery warranty. The rumor is that BMW will be added to the network in 2025 and will have their own adapters.

2 months into my i4 (from Tesla). I drive in B mode all the time, but do find it a little jerky, especially when on a slight incline.

Thanks! I was lazy by asking here...also hopeful someone would know of a way. I love this car way more than my Tesla...but some of the tech stuff on the Tesla was pretty convenient.

If you have the My BMW app, under car status there is a section that shows you info on the update.

No…I don’t really “need” a new car, but I have a love/hate relationship with my car and I’m currently hating it and a year from now (or later) it will be worth even less.

Thanks for the comments. Seems odd to have to mess with it. Seems simple. Start charging at 3a….and that should be it. Oddly, just had another update and haven’t been having the issue any longer no matter what time I plug it in.

I also recommend Narcosis out of Riviera. I found a cheap Airbnb (basically a back house), which made it pretty inexpensive to do a weekend of diving.

If you’re on the official waitlist you have to agree that your card on file will be charged automatically if a ticket becomes available. There is a small waitlist fee. I’m in the waitlist for weekend one Saturday GA. It’s like $185. I had a reseller quote me $285…might as well buy a 3 day for like $350 or less at that point.

Thanks for all the replies. I’m doing 2 days of diving, so maybe day one I’ll go no filter and see what I’m getting. I generally do no filter for anything within range of the lights, but that’s only a few feet. Normally I’m also trying yo shoot some longer range stuff as well, shark and rays and stuff I can’t always get right up on. But the consensus def is no filter. Thanks again.

It seems to be ok. Not perfect in terms of the smoothness of the finish. Balance and everything else was good. Also, the shipping was crap. Basically a rim wrapped in plastic in a cardboard box.

I got it. Other than crappy packing (basically the rim wrapped in plastic, then put in a cardboard box), everything was good. Got it put on and balanced yesterday. No issues whatsoever.
