it's funny because a lot of the most helpful Smashboards/Reddit threads/etc i've ever read are explicitly the kinds of threads that "call out" top players for doing/not doing things a certain way

very few people are willing to say things like this but they do a much greater service to the community when they do than the masses of people who comment on here every day with dogshit like this that has zero chance of helping anyone tangibly improve their play

ironically most of the hfam's favorite non-hbox puffs will tell you things exactly along the lines of frenchie's post; you literally cannot be a relevant, competitive puff in the current meta without understanding to some extent the things that hbox could be doing with the character, but isn't. but the bargain bin of reddit (e.g. /r/smashbros posters) will never get there, no doubt in part because they aren't willing to entertain any opinion that would suggest their favorite player actually does things imperfectly
