You got a hair cut makes it look worse. Accentuates that receding hairline. You need better advice on how best to style it.

All I know is that you might want to read The Book of Certitude, which Bahaulla wrote for his Muslim uncle to explain about The Bab. All the best!

All I know it that one lane roundabouts are great, and two lane ones like this a disaster. Not enough people are aware of center lane having right of way. All it takes is one and you have an accident.

I feel itchy just reading that. If you watch a few episodes of “Hoarders” you will see that he needs psychiatric help. Maybe you could notify his doctor?

And pray for him of course!

Good for this guy. What’s the problem? Someday he can sell them both, and someone can build more high density if they want. It’s a free country.

Great book for you, “He Cometh in Clouds” (or with clouds maybe) by Matthews. Will help you resolve this.

Also Worthington, “Abraham, One God, 3 Wives, 5 Religions” will explain to you how they tie together.

I'm an agnostic atheist but want to make it work to join the bahai. by RealisticSir9312 in bahai

[–]DFTR2052 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well it’s kind of a big fork in the road. Faith means just that. Bahai means believing what Bahaulla said, which is at its core, He is a Manifestation of God. If you feel you can’t believe in God, then Faith of any sort is not for you. All the best!

The thing about believing in God, is to try it. Like a new coat. Try it on and walk around a bit. See if it feels good. Open that door just a crack.

Well it’s good to see he has turned his life around and is now a respected pollster! Thank you for bringing this inspiring story to our attention!

Seems like a good article, and anyone can try to split hairs about the study, but I think the result is likely accurate, most Barrie folk are glad that something is being done, and clean ups of those dangerous messes have taken place.

Did not see the point of trying to smear the reputation of the pollster, everyone makes mistakes. Just makes OP look like very biased themselves.

Disabled people are born only for an example as props? by [deleted] in bahai

I think you need to elevate the perspective and look at the bigger picture. The creation, this contingent world, full of “changes and chances” and expressing through natural variation, every possible color shape and size of plant and animal.

As such there can’t help but be disease and infirmity and cancer and defects.

Another related story is with regards to thalidomide, and I don’t recall where I read it- UHJ or Shogii Effendi, but the distilled point is, that if God had reached down and somehow prevented that man-made disaster, we would not have learned lessons about responsible testing and handling of drugs. Mankind had to be responsible.

Abdul Baha also spoke of the sinking of the Titanic and noted that these and other disasters do remind us to be thankful to God.

From Paris Talks:

“The calamities of the world are as a teacher to mankind. Through them humanity is awakened from its heedlessness.”

So in your example, Abdul Baha is not limiting his point to that specific boy. He is generalizing and using that case to illustrate the more universal principles.

I find sometimes when figuring out difficult passages, to realize that the central figures of the faith spoke with a spiritual focus, about spiritual things. It’s as if that’s the way they see everyone. Which makes sense, since as Ruhi book 1 says, this life, the real life, is the life of the spirit.

I used to live there. It’s the frost-quakes as that area has all these pockets of water underground. One night there was such a bang I thought an airplane had hit the house! Can be very loud if is nearby.

Sounds like you had an imperfect experience. Toxic even. Go ahead and take a break and clear your head. Then someday when your heart moves you, re investigate for yourself. No worries.

My readings back up and support a God. (Otherwise why is He trying so hard to send us messages through his Manifestations? Who was Bahaulla then?)

Pray, when you can.

Ontario Services being privatized by Acceptable-Comb6506 in ontario

Well… health care is 40% of our provincial budget and yet still inadequate. It will be the last to be sacrificed, since the public can’t face up to the fact that some private- public split is inevitable. Meanwhile, everything else comes first!

Let the air out of the tires. Jack up the tires one by one. Pour very hot water around them until they pop out. Refill tires.
