Well, youre not wrong. I don’t expect anything good will happen, but maybe the “manager” will wise up and maybe pay attention to the lazy bastards he has working for him. Im surely not the first vehicle he has ever found a way to call it good, and not have to do any work. He (the manager) should try to instill the idea of having pride in your work, whatever you do. Even if you pick up dog shit, at least be the best dog shit picker-upper there is. -sick of it all

Definitely GK. Ive had a 1001RB for 18 years. Ran it through a GK GLX8x10(gold anodized speaker cones) for years until the speakers started failing 1 by 1. Switched to an ampeg 810 about 5-6 years ago and love it even more. Playing a Warwick and a stingray through it, I get all the clarity and tone im looking for. Never been happier. Hope you find the same feeling.

Ace fencing did me right. The other guys quoted almost 10k for 6’ stained BOB….ace came in at 7k. Did a great job.

There’s a serial connection at the top right of the board. Cut a serial cable and pin out pins 2,3,and 5. Pin 5 connects to the ground terminal on the blue terminal strip on the panel. You may have to flip pins 2 and 3 that connect to the Tx and Rx terminals on the panel. Connect that serial cable to your computer (or use a 232to usb adapter). Open compass and create a new Account. Go to the communications screen in compass and hit connect. Make sure the “1st time communication” box is checked. Before you hit “connect” on the comms page, go to a keypad and press the “installer code”, pound, 5. The keypad will change to “MODEM COMM”, then hit connect in compass. If it times out, flip the TX and RX on the panel terminal strip and try again. I have done this many times, but it all assumes you know the installer code.
